You're right in a sense. Management though should be able to position the team financially to afford a top flight near max if not full max player by then

some of the opinions here i agree with. In my opinion Tracy Mclazy as some ppl say is dragging down the team mentally. basketball like many sports is very mental and depends alot on the mentality the players have. As good as Mcgrady is, as talented as he is he is just destroying the team mentally. His energy just plain sucks and it rubs off on the other players negitavelly. you can see that on the court the way he gingerly trots around like he is to good. and the way he grins in the worst possible times.. on the other hand a guy like Luis Scola is completely on the other side of the spectrum. he emphisises i team effort and gives off real good winning energy that im hoping will rub off on the other players. (why do you think the Argentines succeed in every popular teamsport Basketball, soccer, Rugby, even tennis.) Unfortunately Mcgrady is the best player and his energy will rub off more. Yao Ming isnt exacly Scola energy wise and isnt as talented as Mcgrady but the guys tries as hard as anybody so i dont really have issues with him. Rick Adelman has a positive energy that is good but it isnt strong. JVG had a strong energy even though it was about as negative as it could get lol but i think the team became dependant on JVG bosing them around. Thats why this team is strugling with energy issues i think. The team is headed in the right direction but it will take time for the players to learn the system and learn to motivate themselves with out JVG screaming out orders..But i do think it would be wise to trade Mcgrady.

I'd like to see a ratio of YOF's to total posts in this thread.

Would you also like to see the ratio of TOFs to total posts in the 'Trade Yao' thread?

If yes, why didn't you ask that question in the 'Trade Yao' thread.

    If no, please explain why.

So is it yes or no?

    I say hell no...

If trading Tmac is the last resort, I would trade him for a young prospect and a few decent role players.

Besides JKidd is starting to go downhill with his career.

I really want to see his answer to my questions and I hope he will not just run away and hide.

HOU gets: Elton Brand (injured), Shaun Livingston (injured), Corey Maggette
LAC gets: TMac (pu$$y), Mike James (ballhog), Landry (PF insurance), Snyder (filler)

LAC gets the most talented/best player (TMac) and they don't have to worry about Livingston and Brand making injury comebacks. They get Mike James to take over the starting PG spot, Landry to be groomed as the back-up PF/C, and Snyder as a serviceable bench player.
HOU gets their cornerstone PF and their PG of the future, not to mention a wingman (Maggette) wil balls. We'd have to worry about getting Brand to agree to an extension, though. On second thought, we'd probably have to give up Battier instead of/in addition to Mike James. I dunno who I'd want LAC to add in that scenario.

We, the Rockets, need to think about the TMac situation like we're in the stockmarket. When all indications are that he's on a descent and is possibly spiraling down, you don't hang on with false hope. You get out while you still can, while the stock still has value.

T-Mac is a smart guy. He will not let you trade him, he will fake an injury if you consider to trade him. :D

T-mac's sweet smile is unacceptable and unbearable after the shameful lost to Mavericks, especially compared with Yao's tears.

TMac is not a winner, this guy is lazy in regular season games, and you can never expect him fired up in playoffs.

    Trade him.

That's enough. I saw too many times Tracy is just standing there and shooting mile-long ill-advised field goal, sometimes he can make some, sometime not. The coach never told him there are other people in this team?

TMac makes simple game difficult, he can jack up nice stats for himself, however, the team will win nothing.

The biggest question is not his jump shot,is his heart,a champion heart.Yao has,Kobe has too!

Disagree. Yao and T-Mc have heart (just not the heart of a champion quite yet). The rapist Kobe Bryant just has a heart on.

I'd move him in a heart beat if it were possible. Obviously, we need some talent in return, but Tracy has no intensity, no heart. We'll never win a championship as long as he's complacent to launch 20' jumpers instead of having the balls to take it to the rim. The Rockets need a leader and he so far, has refused to take the reigns.

Tracy for Pau Gasol and Mike Miller.

Upgrade at the 4 and a shot in the arm for our perimeter shooting. Also become deep as hell.
