What about the two hand dunk that Rudy Gay put on Yi in the summer league. Did you remember how some folks had an orgasm with it and kept saying how nasty it was? So was the Gay dunk weak or nasty to you?
I remember that dunk! Yi monkey-hung on the rim and almost gave some Spaniard a tea-bag while swinging his legs.
Yi has far more upside potential than any of the other rookies in the class--except Oden. Brewer is what he is--a finished product. The same is pretty much true for Horford and probably even Durant. Yi really can be expected to get better.
r u kidding me? Yi does have potential but to say he has more potential other than oden in such a deep class is absurd. Durant is one of the biggest talents we have seen in years. Horford will be a beast, he is already avging 10rebs/game. Conley and Green both have great upside as well.
That's just absurd. Very few rookies came into the league as finished products. Almost all of them get better over the years. Even relatively-polished players like Shane Battier got better in the NBA. This year's rookie class is one of the best and deepest since the class of Lebron. Don't forget that Kevin Durant is only 19 years old. He'll easily be a 25 PPG scorer in a couple of years. Hortford's offense will get better as he matures and get more touches. Cornley will be a great PG in this league once he has chances to play and develops. Branden Wright will be pretty good once he plays too. Yi is definitely a good player, but to say that he has more potential than any other rookie except Oden is just wrong.
To the homer that thinks 2-handed dunks is boring, that really showed you never dunked in your whole life. You probably never even played basketball before. LOL! 2-handed dunks is a lot harder than 1-handed dunk.
I agree that those who have problem with two-hand dunks are idiots. But why would you equate them to homers? I always respect homers. They are the true fans of their team.
People that sits in front of the computer 24/7 without a job, still living with mommy and daddy, doesn't own a house, doesn't own a car, talks nonsense without any common sense or knowledge, trying so hard to talk hardcore over the internet cause they can't do that in real life, does NOT deserve respect at all. Sorry if that comment was so harsh on you homers. It's not my fault I own a house, pay mortgages, while you homers can barely afford your rent, or if you're still living with mommy and daddy. Speaking of collecting rent, I'm bout to go collect rent right now from some homers, and it MIGHT be you! Sucks to have me as a landlord eh? NEVER be late when you paying me rent, NEVER! Or I'll evict your ass so you'll be back with mommy and daddy. LOL!
Oh mine, I hope you were just trying to be funny. If you have read my posts in this thread, I actually agree with what you are saying to a large extent. Should you have directed your anger at the idiots who have problem with two-hand dunks? LOL!
I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the homer idiots that you were refering to also. And no one is angered over anything but these jobless homers that still lives at home.
Yi would be a lot better if he played with *team* mates. Redd and Williams are black holes. Once they get the ball, it is hard to pry it away from them.
breakout game and career night fot Yi today! He hit 12/12 before missing! Jumpers and quite a few dunks, one steal and breakaway dunk, couple of put back dunks final stat line - double double 29 points from 14/17 shooting 10 rebound - 4 offense, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block
in the post game report, yi did mention that his teammate passed and shared the ball in the game. what a shock!
Good for him. Most of the Bucks games I watch, Yi is very passive and careful. Maybe he's had some time to measure himself and it made a difference tonight. Or maybe he was just red hot tonight against a bad team. Hope he continues to do well.
In the post game interview, he said he was surprised that his teammates actually pass the ball tonight.
Yi has said the same thing many times after wins with Yi got good stats. Dont read too much about it. But it's also a fact that Mo always looks for Redd and ignores the other guys. Mo & Redd are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th options of the Bucks.
