Why Houston get so many back to back, I don't understand. Just look at this next Back to Back. Orlando is in Dallas today why they don't go and play a back to back here tomorrow in Houston a city close to Dallas, why give so many days off to Houston and then made them go and play Denver next day. Why you don't make a team in the same state play back to back instead of making the other team take a back to back with a city so far away, that don't make sense at all. Houston have play 6 back to Back so far 3 more back to back in the remainder of the month. 18 out 31 games in the first 3 month are or going to be back to back. That is 58% of out game in a back to backs, can someone design a better schedule than that. Is any other team got this type of treatment. Look to me like Barkley was the one designing when to play our games.
I think people here also dont realise how hectic our schedule is. Even I didnt know our back to back were 58% of our games. Thats quite ridiculous
Actually, the Rockets play more games against teams on the second half of back-to-back games than they play this year. I forget the exact numbers, but it's something like 23 vs. 18.
It's the NBA! Over the 82 game season, it all evens out. Every team has a bunch of back to backs. Dumb da dumb dumb.
IDK, it seems to me that somehow, we always get one of the toughest schedules in the league, and has been for a while now. It's really evident this year. The team'd like get a couple of back to backs, then several days off, then another back to back. I don't know whether that's healthy in building continuity for a team that has none at the moment.
There's 1000+ NBA games in a single season. It's probably a combination of human judgment and a computer algorithm that makes it all possible. I doubt the first thing they think of is 'screw Houston' when they begin.
I agree but the schedule isnt doing our players any favours if people would realise that too. I like how people say basketball players are professionals but realistically no other sport in the world makes their players play like this.
I'll post it again, in bold and with better grammar: This year the Rockets actually play opponents that are on the second half of back-to-back games more often than the Rockets themselves play back-to-back games. I forget the exact numbers, but it's something like 23 vs. 18.
Every team gets a lot a lot back to backs. For example, Rockets got 17 back to back last year. Only Lakers and Heat had fewer(16).
its a 82 game season which will even out... and if you let back to backs be the excuse for this team's flunk, then they are really hopeless
