I don't see any lineups were Novak becomes viable at the 4. Certainly you wouldn't want Yao, Battier and Novak on the court at the same time. That would be the softest front line in the league. If we had a Ron Artest at the 3 than I could see Novak having a value on the court. I don't see it but maybe with Bonzi on the court with him he could guard the less athletic 3's. God knows we desperatley need another shooter to open the court.

This is pointless. He's gonna pretty much just be sitting on the bench again, much like Brooks last night. I feel bad they're getting these boys' hopes up for nothing.

im not sure what it means except that he'll be sitting on the bench all game.

dont we have to have 3 players in te inactive list?

maybe this is a sign that rafer will be inactive onger than expected, or maybe there is a trade in the works. most likely, its just novak sitting at the end of the bench.

I wish we were trading Novak and perhaps a second rounder for Gerald Green of Minnesota. Green is in a funk right now -- I don't think the cold agrees with this son of Texas. Green would give us an athletic 6-8 SG who could play SF as well.

I hope Novak learned how to mask some of his weaknesses a little better and learned how to be more effective in a team deffense while he was away, because if he has done neither of those things he will have be right where he was when he left.

I live down her in the other part of the World called the Rio Grande Valley. SA is not South Texas nuff said. I have been to two Vipers game(One last night where they were drilled coming off a b2b). Steve has played well in the games I have seen him play but not great. He can shoot but his D needs a lot of work. I hope he gets a decent chance if he is called up and RA finds a way to utilize Steve.
