EXACTLY. Everyone that's biting on this "credible" source should be laughed at. How can it be true? For starters, McGrady should know that, even with his popularity, this team is Yao's team. McGrady is more expendable than Yao will ever be. That's just taking the EXTREME side of this "situation". As for freezing Yao out, what good would that do? You try to freeze out a 20/10 player for the sake of massaging your own ego? Please. And what's all this "by us" talk? No way would the whole team listen to a player that mails in games every other night. I can think of at least 5 players on the Rockets that would follow Yao's lead than McGrady's. And to the people that think Yao should haven't went to the media and taken care of this internally, you guys are funny. You are probably the same ones that wanted a more vocal and leadership-driven Yao the past few years, and when he does call out his pathetic teammates, you say he shouldn't have done that? Instead of getting your feelings hurt, maybe the Rockets should think that, of all people, it's the most mild-mannered and soft spoken Rocket that called them soft.
really dont need care about this. something made up by so-called "SINA" which is run by a bunch of liers.
Iso-ed means "high five" in Chinese -- so basically T-Mac said, "Next time you do well Yao we will give you a high five".
T-mac gave a post-game interview for ESPN... while Yao was one of the first players walking off the court at the buzzer. Unless Yao simply waited in the tunnel for T-mac to finish his interview, there's no way this could have happened. And if something as bizzarre and close to this did actually happen, where is the management/authority figures stepping in to try to fix it? Sitting on the bench with his hand on his cheek?
One could only hope. . . . but If he didn't .. . HE BETTER NOT LET STEVE HEAR HIM SAY THAT ***** Honestly. . .I think the best thing now is for Yao and Steve to have a heart to heart Steve - What up Yao Yao - I am disappointed in you Steve - I am trying Yao - THERES I NO TRY!! THERE IS ONLY DO!!!! Steve - yea. . . I guess big bros can learn from lil bros Yao - but we bros for life. . . not get on that ***** treadmill Steve - yea man . . what about T-mac Yao- ***** that soft @#$@$^356 Rocket River ok . . I am getting a big crazy now
How about this: On this Sunday noon, some fans met Yao at his restaurant. They mentioned a rumor that Nets want to trade Kidd for Tmac, but Rockets shot it down. Then Yao Said: Are you f***ing kidding me? This is Kidd! T who? Trade his a**
Who know what this doubly-translated rumor crap means, really? I'd reserve judgment until further more credible and clearly written news. As it stands now, this could mean: 1. TMac is mad at Yao for calling the team soft. Not that suprising... TMac seems the sensitive sort. Jeff has always been careful in not hurting his feelings. 2. TMac is simply telling Yao that even if it's true, calling out teammates, if done too much, is going to hurt the unity of the team.
He then asks the guy for his cell phone and dials. Yao: Morey? What is this ***** I hear about you not trading for Kidd? . . . . Rafer too and??? . . .Hell they can have bat-te-ay Bat-te-air whatever the ***** his name is . . .don't make me come down there . . . .***** that I'm calling Hakeem! . . . .yea .. I thought that would get you *ss in gear! Rocket River
You mean by constantly telling the media someone is out of shape and you prefer wafer to them and blah blah blah??? Constantly in the media slobberying over wafer while dogging the other guards on the team you mean that kind of hurting team unity??? Rocket River
You mean Adelman telling the truth about how the PGs have played? I'm pretty sure even Steve Francis realizes that he has sucked. In fact, he said that after the game... something about how he embarased himself on the court. Maybe Steve is hurting self-unity?
thanks bull**** b/c rafer alston runs the offense the way it should be run...rafer alston is the coach's pet obviously anytime the coach put alston over franics...
I'd suggest Rox fans stopping getting Rox info from Sina Sports. Their reporter's main task is drawing eyeballs by all means.
All I know is if this happened and the players actually did it... Don't waste your time bashing McGrady. What it really means is Rick Adelman would be the worst coach in the history of sports and I would never respect him. Assuming he actually lets it happen.
How does a post like this, quoting from a questionable source, could help our team right now? Sensationalism and totally unwarranted. A gross over-reaction to total hearsay. I won't take this with a grain of salt but a full bottle of the saltiest soy sauce. SS999
Sorry I was meant to say: How could a post like this, quoted from a questionable source, help our team right now? Sorry, too much sauce on my fingers...
I dont believe this kind of rumor too much. Especially in chinese media, there is an idiocy that they try to make Yao as the leader of the Rockets or it's Yao's team, blah, blah, blah.... But I watched the Pistons game twice and I felt the body language of the team was different even before this rumor. Strange. But Yao did help T-Mac to get up after T-Mac hurted his knee in yester-nite's game. Yao needs to learn the locker room culture. Speaking out to the media is always a big NO. Especially Yao doesnt has too much street-cred. NBA players only see Yao as a good player but not a dominant player in his position. Yao has too many weaknesses that need his teammates' help. If Yao contiues biatching to media, Yao will find himself losing his teammates fast.
To put it simple, I don't believe it at all. The whole article is like a make-up garbage. IT is not that all sina's news is fake, but for this one it is fake from inside out 100% to me.
