Those are some good looking dogs. Roger, he's awesome dude.

I'd send some pics of my dog, I sent some pics from my phone to my email, then transfered 'em to a folder, but that's where I'm stuck at. I tried to slide it over to the reply box but it's not working.

the only negative about my dog is every now and then if i start drinking my dog will go off in another room and start staring at me making me
    self conscious.

but hell, I walked my dog 3 miles this morning, 35 mph against a north wind about coming off galveston bay. so i aint hearing it.

Yep, beagles are nothing but BIG eyes and ears when they're puppies. Quite possibly the cutest puppies around. That and huskies.

I got my beagle as a gift, never would have ever thought about owning a beagle till I got her.

This brings up a pet peeve of mine - dogs in homes. It's disgusting. They completely take a nice home and turn it into a smelly home. The people who live it those homes get used to the scent, but when you walk in as a guest, you notice it. Nothing like a dog that doesn't wipe or clean itself after it pisses or schits flopped all over your bed.

My dogs(tiny lab, tiny boxer) killed a big ass possum a week ago, which is kind of surprising since they aren't big dogs.

They guard the house real good too.

    My dogs kick ass.

i have a damn good dog. Adopted her off the street. Well she had owners, but they neglected her and she basically lived off trash...the b**** made a mess of mine a few time!. She use to scare the hell out of me. I would get out of the truck and i would see her walking toward me and i would book it to the door :)

She ended up having puppies and I came home one day and her, and her baby were just chilling on the corner and holding the neighborhood down. My girl at the time actually grabbed the puppy (which in retrospect was dangerous). we were just there playing with the puppy and Momma dog (what we call her) was just watching.

The owner happen to come by and said we could have the puppy...and the mom too. We said the puppy will be enough. However, over time momma kept coming by the house and you couldnt help but feel sorry for her. It's summer in tucson for petes sake! So i start putting out water and food and leaving my back gate open for her. Eventually let her in the house and one day I was just chillen with momma. She smelt horrid, so i said..."F-it. I guess your my dog" and I gave her a bath.

I didnt know how she would react so i was VERY careful when picking her up...i was just ready for her to take a bite. Well, she was awesome.

Took her a few days to stop tearing up the trash and she still loved to roam the neighborhood...chasing bicycles and such. But after a little time, she was awesome. Sweet as hell...a dog like that really appreciates love because she had it pretty bad. Never had to house train her and she is great on the leash. It seems like she is showing off and proud to have an owner. Of course, I still don't trust her completely off leash. Oh, and she's a little ghetto, i.e. will take a dog down if it starts stuff.

Unfortunately, she developed a nose tumor. She deals with it (she's a tough b****) but its sad because it slows her down. But she is the best dog i ever had...who would have thought, some mutt (boxer/pitbull mix) is better than the pure bred great danes, chocolate labs and schnouzer (spelling), i've had.

Oh, her daughter is a great dog too. She is a independent and isnt overly affectionate. However, she listens great and responds immediately to whatever command and she is great off leash...she really doesnt even need one

Elie, my Rhodesian Ridgeback owns all other dogs.

I've always liked Beagles, had one growing up. Is the barking and wondering hell?

(Bigtexxx makes another post proving I could never ever hang out with him)

The barking is so annyoing! My goodness, it's not the fact that they bark like crazy, but their bark itself is annoying. It'll be 2AM and then all of a sudden, loud, high pitched barking starts. It's like mine mixes howling with barking and make a totally new sound. I have to put him in the garage every time this happens. Worst part is that he doesn't want to come in so I have to chase him for a little bit.....at 2AM in the morning!

You get used to the barking. If fact as I type this my beagles are howling at the guy cutting my yard. :D

I had my first beagle as a puppy while I still lived in an apartment. That was not a good time. Beagles need a yard to burn off that energy (with a secure fence) and they like to talk a lot sometimes, so that can piss off neighbors in an apartment. Moving into a house did wonders for mine.

You keep your beagle locked outside at night? No wonder he is barking.

Why? Are beagles strictly house dogs? He actually likes being outside better. He is always barking at the cats that roam around my house.
