Right now Yao is playing with heart and TMac is quitting. To keep our season's hope alive, Yao needs to become a real leader and not afraid to scream at any teammate including TMac. However, I don't think TMac's fragile psyche can take that and it will only further poison the locker-room chemistry. So we're doomed for the season! I started to follow Rocket's games since Yao came, but I have never been so down on the team like now.
The funny thing is that you feel it has to happen in order for Rockets to right the ship, but at the same time you are afraid that you are going to break one of our co-captains.
this will never happen - Yao is too smart. He knows this will not help and I think he's lost his faith in TMac. He might ask for a trade to force them to trade TMac - this guy just quits too quickly and everyone should see now that with him the rox is going nowhere. Actually I don't think yao would do anything, but if I were him I'd ask for a trade.
what's keeping yao from doing this is the fact that he's a great guy. he has all the power and leverage to get him run out of town, seeing as how he's backed by a billion people, there's no way he's gonna be traded without a GLOBAL outcry...but he's just not cutthroat enough to make something like that happen.
Maybe ROX's situation this season like which orlando had at 2003-04 season. Just look at 3rd of the game today, who didn't agree to the article "control issure" should shut up. If the team think Yao in low-post is not far more important than T-mac in high-post,Why not trade yao.So t-mac will bring them a championship. Yao should ask for trade if adelman will not change.... Except some commercial things, YAO's great affection for the basketball is obvious. He could shoot free throws with four fingers when another one was injured. We don't talk about who is the leader of the team. We should find a right attitude like YAO's towards basketball.
It's not in Tracy's character! You will be happier if you try and understand this is fact!! Only the Coach should speak with Tracy! But I am not sure the Coach even knows what he is doing!!
Screaming at TMac will make thing go worse. I suggest Rockets seek professional help. Rockets need special professional motivational expert to deal with TMac and others who are slacking off. Remember the doctor that cure his back, that's a pro specialist help to fix his back. Now Tmac need another pro to fix his mind.
A guy like Tmac is tough to be yelled at. He has made all the money in the world and got all the skills in the world. If he is pissed, he is pissed, nothing can change him. We need him to figure it out, maybe he will never.
And really this is what RA is hired to do. Yao has no business in doing that, and he isnt good at it either.
The so-called lack of heart, toughness, lack of leadership, etc. is not related to why we're struggling. At all. I don't understand why you people continue to criticize the team for these insignificant factors, while completely ignoring the more relevant and obvious flaws, which is the lack of perimeter shooting and inability to involve all the role players in an appropriate fashion. This team is still trying to adjust to Adelman and his ideas (whatever they are). I don't think everyone has talked enough about the difference in styles of Adelman and JVG affecting the team. We're supposed to trend towards a motion-driven offense, and there is nothing of that sort yet. Once everything is shored up as far as the scheme goes, then feel free to criticize the less important factors of the game. In the mean time, players screaming at each other and going off on the media will only create chaos and not improve the situation. This is a very frustrating time for the Rockets to adjust to Adelman (which was SUPPOSED to be expected by fans that had any knowledge of the situation), and the last thing they need right now is some extracurricular activities.
Why 3 choices? It's time to trade/fire ALL three of them. All three are proved to be losers, not just one or two, but all three.
I agree with you.Yao and Tmac were playing together after 4 years.The real fact is ,there are not free time to waste for them.YAO always look like too soft,but tmac even like a pretty girl.
