    Kobe is a lazy jumpshooter. The lakers lost a late lead to the GSWs last night and what did Kobe do......drive to the basket in the 4Q....nope. He clanged some ugly jumpshots :rolleyes:


    Look at SA--Serviceable forward in TD, couple of average 5s, a good pg and a slashing guard that can hit from the field in Manu, some 3 pt shooters and wala...

    Kobe is a better player and is a champion.
    I'm not pissed that Tmac is a jump shooter, i'm pissed he's soft.

    he injured his groin in the 4th if you didn't remember...

    at least he didn't bail on his team like tracy did in philly. and we don't even know if mac's injury was even for real. kobe is a warrior. tmac should stick to playing dolls.

    I motion that until McGrady starts earning his paychecks, we all just call him Tracy, since it's a girl's name. He doesn't deserve to called T-Mac anymore, he's just plain Tracy.

    kobe has 3 rings, tchuck has 0 and has never gone pass the first round.

    even though kobe asks for a trade he plays with heart and he plays to win.
    tmac? not so much.

    Last night should not be used an example, Kobe was clearly limited in his play and could not make a basket. He tore his quadriceps by the way and still payed through the pain. He might be out for a while now but knowing kobe, he might just play the next game.

    Better example was game 1 2007 playoffs where kobe continually shoots jumpshots in the 4th where the suns had no shotblockers inside. Yes, he was making those shots early on but wasn't late and didn't adjust. Tmac is the same, takes a lot of ill advised jumpshots.

    One thing for sure I like Kobe is because of his heart and passion, and by the way, he plays great defense.

    And yet he somehow manages to shoot twice as many fts as tmac? Wonder how thats possible since they have identical shot selection. :rolleyes:

    Kobe doesn't get his ft's because he is driving to the rim crazy. It's just that they hack him while he is trying to get free to take a jumper. If they played some defense without hacking or holding him, he'd just destroy them.

    82 games compiled stats. Kobe is a 75% jumpshooter, that means 75% of his shots are jumsphots. Tmac? 78%

    That's some real facts there.

    This is a legit reason, part of the reason why i think Kobe would be a upgrade. He is the superior player but he brings heart, passion. He fires his teamates up, just watch the game against the pistons this season when he dived and wrestled with Rip. His shot wasn't falling, that was all passion.

    But please, do not use the "Tmac takes too many jumpshots, get kobe in here" as a motto. It's simply unfair on tmac.

    Kobe wants to win badly, will trade teammate and bash Dr Buss

    McGrady wants to win too, but only put in enough effort to try, if fails, goes back to his 2004 Orlando Magic mode... "hmph.. whatever" MODE: ON

    Both are great players but only one true determind winner: Bryant #8
