    I got:

-Pedals and shoes for my bike
-The Kiss Box Set! WOW! REALLY NICE!
-A Conure! Actually this wasn't a gift, I rescued him from my cousin and his pitbull farm in Brownsville. The poor thing was in a cold, dark cinderblock toolshed with only deer corn in his feed dish:(!
The other two birds had died from freezing and/or malnutrition. I just have a really soft place in my heart for suffering creatures! Hes half way tame, in fact, he's sitting on my shoulder as I type this and seems to be very happy now! :)

BTW he is all green with a little orange and some blue on the top of his head. Hes not one of those Sun Conures but I wonder what kind he is? Anyone?

    Blue-crowned Conure

A bunch of conures (check out the "orange-fronted conure")

    Eastern Mexican Petz's Conure
    German: Südmexikanischer Elfenbeinsittich
to be more specific of the three varieties.:)

They travrel through Brownsville and nest in the tall palmtrees.
I could here them gawking up there collecting shopping carts at H.E.B. about 13 years ago.
I think I'll name him after the german version "Südmexikanischer Elfenbeinsittich":p

BTW, thats an amazing sight! thanks

I got about 230 in cash from my mom, 50 bucks from my step mom, and 25 from my step brother, which is really nice.

I also got a new Sony Xplod CD player in my car since my factory deck went out.

    An electric razor.

    And some car wash stuff.

This time of year is always hectic for my wife. She has a ton of nephews and nieces, friends, and family to buy for, not to mention me, and my birthday is right after the New Year.

But, on top of all that I graduated just about a week and a half ago. So, she's just about maxed out. But, she did great.

For my graduation I got a real nice Swiss Army watch. It feels like it weighs about 2lbs. I also got some cash from relatives.

For Christmas, my wife and I bought ourselves a VCR/DVD combo, and a bunch of DVDs: Blow, Cast Away, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Gladiator, Hannibal, Memento, The Mexican, Planet of the Apes, Snatch, Traffic, Way of the Gun, and The Wedding Planner.

Plus, we got each other a few CDs.

For my birthday, my wife bought me a Sony CDP-CX400, which is a mega-CD player that holds 400 discs. This is my favorite of the three main purchases.

The only bad thing is that it's only a little more than half full, and that makes me want to spend tons of money to fill it up. Oh, and it can be hooked up to another 400-disc player... Did I mention that I love it?!?
