I'm not buying the notion that we are still adjusting to the offense, and that's the reason for our troubles. Yes, there should be some level of adjustment even 24 games in, but we aren't progressing at all at this point. These guys on our team don't move like Adelman's teams move, and as a result, his system won't work here. I'm sure it' a great system, but our players won't run it, and he's not commanding enough to make them do so.

I think I'll be at Wednesday's game, and if I am there, I will definitely scream this chant. FIRE RICK!!!

how bout we stop caring how the rest of the league is fairing and care about how the rockets are performing. if the rockets play good basketball the record will take care of itself. noticing how other teams in the league are performing is not going to help the rockets in any way. there is no sympathy in the league for the rockets.

No system would work. We aren't versatile enough to drive and dish like Dallas, and we don't have the shooters to play an inside-out game. I really question the "talented players" we have on this team. These group of players just don't fit the bill. We defintely need a personnel change but Rick is not part of the problem.

I would significantly limit Yao on the high post, I am a little surprised that Rick hasn't done more of Yao on the block with a sprinke of High post....

You may be right, Yao might not work on the high post....

Geez, I hate to say I'm gonna agree with Rofflesaurus on this one. But we don't have the personnel for RA's system. We have the personnel to be very very good in the old Rudy T or Pat Riley system. Even in the Phil Jackson Triangle because guess what, that is a system. This Rick Adleman system is not a system at all. What the hell is read and react? That means that you go out there without any set plays, no pick and rolls, no single, double screens to free a shooter up. You just go out there and play hard basketball and make hard cuts. Streetball if you ask me.

Actually I just reread what you wrote. Disagree with you. It is Rick's fault.

Where can we get a guy like Reggie Theus. He's completely turned the Kings around. He's probably going to be a candidate for coach of the year along with Doc Rivers.

Actually, the triangle and rick's offense go hand-in-hand, so no we wouldn't fare well if Phil was coaching us. Watch any Laker game, they have excellent chemistry and off the ball movement because they have players who are actually versatile.

Thanks. I don't know if it's just Rick's strategy to try harder on this high post thing or he is just a little bit stubborn and arrogant to admit it. If the first, it's great but it's time to change, if the latter, we are really in trouble.

Read and react is fundamental basic basketball that with a average basketball IQ anyone can read. The triangle offense is read and react and everyone's favorite coach phil jackson runs it.

I think his system is not suited to our team.Though T-MAC is injured, but its not that reason we lost tonight.
I dont want to talk about our D b/c RA is not a D coach.

BUT our offense is too bad.our ball always halt,I didnt even see a fluent offense. When the dallas run a one to one defense. We cannt run the ball, have no way to pass the ball.

We have a lot of talent players, why we are 12-12 now?

the only reason is RA's system is not suited to our team.

    so fire RA.

Yao is doing his best to step up and be the leader we all wanted him to be. The only problem is that Tmac's crybaby, lazy BS is undermining any authority Yao has. Yao can't lead the team when the best player (yes, it is Tmac) is setting such a poor example.

Meanwhile, Adelman's supposed ability to forge the offense around each player's strength is a crock. Terry Porter and Clyde Drexler are not walking through that door ready to play. Neither are Chris Webber or Vlade Divac. So what we are left with is a coach who does not fit this team's personnel and who seems unable to evolve his offense or his coaching style to make it work.

Great job, Les. You of all people should have been close enough to the team over the past few seasons to realize this team could only be successful under the structure of a JVG type coach. Boneheaded move by our fearless owner.

This team can lose any team, and could miss the playoff too. The only person who is doing his job is Yao today. Rick A makes the team no better, but worse. Do not know what to say.

Why would you do this, why don't you see if we make the playoffs before you pass such harsh judgement and throw a Good coach off the boat.

Rick is trying to make this team play his system. But the fact is, with a team with the type of superstars we have, Yao and Tmac are the system. Some examples, like whats been said, Yao can't play high post and it seems Tmac is ineffective when he doesn't handle the ball and is forced to play off the ball instead. Rick needs to take a step back and realize that this team is and should be built on Yao and Tmac, not on his "system".

Agree. Maybe it's better to chant "it's the time" and then " CHANGE"!!!

what change? let's leave the team to decide.
