I just got off of work. I saw the box scores....Yao had 28 and 11, T-Mac got injured, and we lost by 13. What happened tonight? Was it total blowout or did we blow a big league? Or was Dallas in control for the whole game?
first half was competitive, second half was almost a repeat of the philly game...but with more effort atleast. tmac tried to play through the injury but it was obvious he couldnt do much
C'mon, there's a post-game analysis thread answering this question. Read that, and wait for the highlights later man
For one night (flame throwers, keep away), the Rockets actually played much better when TMac was on the bench and Yao was on the floor. TMac pretty much stunk the whole place up much like Toronto. His +/- was something like -20 as he was bombing away from the outside with almost nothing to show for it.
T-MAC is mirror of ROX. If he is doing what he did past several years, with no patient for hunting chance, just shoot, shoot and shoot when he wants. Future?just like T-MAC's fragile body. hopeless!
I was hoping that McGrady would do something on the defensive end, but....lackluster. I know he got injured, but damn it you are against the Mavericks your in-state rival, and you're just relaxing on the court?
You have to ask him. He looked in tremendous pain at one point and took himself out of the game, then all of sudden jumping pumping like old Tmac in mid 3rd, then dissappeard again. Clyde said it best tonight on Tmac "Even if you are hurt, you cant show your emotion to your teammates to discourage them."
Steve Francis looked lost as well. He was given the start which was a clear opportunity for him to shine, but he had ZERO energy and effort. Makes me wonder if he wants the starting job.
They had a ton of open looks, again. Sometimes instead of missing, they didn't even shoot......at all!
