Yes, HERNIA injury. Francis missed the flight to Minneapolis tonight (Thursday) and will be examined by doctors Friday morning. The team is afraid it might be a HERNIA injury. If surgery is needed he could be out 3 to 4 weeks. Because of his young age he is expected to bounce back quicker than Hakeem IF it is indeed a hernia injury. When it rains... Old School
If that is the case I wonder what we will do for a backup point. If we will move Mobley(Pancake Flipper) over to the point or the IR/CBA thing..
I wonder (if it is a hernia) if he got if from dragging his hurt knee around? ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
Is this the worst injury year the Rockets have ever had or what? First Hakeem, then Charles, now Francis. And we're still better than the Bulls. Too bad everyone else is too.
BryceDrewFan is going bezerk right now! If Francis is hurt I hope Bryce"the shoe wiper"Drew brings his "A" game which is pretty damn good usually.
Not only is this the worst season for injuries the Rockets have ever had, if Francis does miss any extended time, this would be the worst injury season ever in the NBA. What other team lost approximately 60 games from one of their superstars, 22 games from another of their superstars, and possibly 3 to 5 weeks from a third superstar? Geez.... ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
Fingers are stil crossed that it is not a hernia that will need surgery. The team said if that's the case Francis would probably catch a flight to Minn and may or may not play Friday night. Hakeems was severe and combined with his age kept him out a lot longer. Stanley Roberts was hanging around Compaq Thursday night...can he play the point?? Old School
DID NO ONE CATCH WILL'S POST???? ADMIRAL ADMIRAL ADMIRAL. REMEMBER SAN ANTONIO WAS GOOD, DAVID WENT DOWN FOR ALMOST A FULL YEAR, AND THEY END UP WITH TIM DUNCAN.....THAT WAS JUST NOT FAIR. But if Stevie were to go down for a while: KENYON KENYON KENYON!!!
