I was hoping some of you could help me out with this.

I'm about to pick up some work doing some web development on the side. I know what needs to be done, and I know about how long it will take me. What I don't know is how much to charge for my services. I've always been a full-time salaried employee so charging by the hour is new to me.

What kind of fees are reasonable in this day and age? The work is going to be in PHP and there will be a significant amount of SQL work going on in the background.

Any of you web developers? Or know of a good place to find quotes at least?

    Thanks in advance.

    :)

by project or per hour? Try http://www.odesk.com/. My friend works here. You can even watch the developer work over a Webex-like system.
