    Trading James would be a mistake, imo. We got Juwan Howard for the guy it's not like theres a huge market for a player like that who's performing well under his ability. The only thing that makes sense is packaging him with someone else.

    There doesn't seem to be any obvious candidates for a trade partner involving James. In a one for one trade the only players who IMO seem realistic are Brian Cardinal, Desmond Mason, Marquis Daniels, Marko Jaric, Earl Watson, Jared Jeffries. All of them disappointing and with as lengthy or longer contracts than James.

    Why stop there? Go for the big trade: include T-Mac, Battier, Rafer, MJ, and Hayes. I don't know what will get you but it is worth a try.
