that was a serious dunk. Yao punked Rasheed and McDyess on that play, and nobody would mistake that finish for "soft".

Do we really want more free throw shooting?

Hakeem video made me misty eyed. I forgot how crazy his elevation was. You always hear about how fast he was and how great his footwork was, but his elevation and quick jumping ability is better than any big man in the game today. Some players can jump high on the first jump, but even if you juked Hakeem with a pump fake and brought him in the air, his second jump would most likely block or alter the shot following the pump fake. You call Shaq a freak of nature, but Hakeem was on another level. There is no player, and I mean no one that had his abilities, and no one even compares. I swear if he was American, and had the charisma of Shaq, people would give him the props he rightly deserves. Greatest center I've ever seen in my still relatively young lifetime.

Oh and anytime the Rockets lose, they need to watch that video and appreciate just how great this franchise truly is because of Hakeem even after retirement.

I remember when Hakeem was awarded the MVP award in 1994 and he called his teammates up so they could lift the trophy together. A lot of great athletes have come through the city of Houston but none with as much heart and desire as #34.

Probably no coincidence that no other Houston team has won an a major championship aside from the Dream years.

Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn once in a while, same about Yao giving an aggressive dunk.

Oh come on. Sometimes you can't help it. Don't tell me everytime they missed in that second half you weren't groaning at home? I know I was was. It's natural for a fan to grown when there team does something boneheaded... missing on that many free throws was just as frustrating for the fans as it was the players.
