    James' new gang

Former Piston Mike James , averaging 8.8 points off the Rockets' bench, shared a few pregame laughs with his old "Pit Bulls" running mate Lindsey Hunter .

"Lindsey's old," said James, who teamed with Hunter to form a defensive wrecking crew off the Pistons' bench in 2004. "But he always manages to keep himself in shape. He's got all those kids to chase around (at home), that keeps him young."

The Rockets are James' third team since leaving the Pistons, but he still has fond memories of Detroit.

"There will always be a place in my heart for Detroit," he said. "To this day, that was the best team, the best teammates, I ever played for. When people ask me what was the best team I ever played on, I always say the Pistons."

They won the NBA championship... I'd be concerned if he said any other team.

This is almost as shocking to hear as it was finding out that Roger Clemens is on that steroid list.

can't blame him for saying it, but I have a feeling that he was also a little pissed about his DNP last night..............which is understandable also.........

Not that his comments matter anyway, but they were made before the game for what it's worth.

in all seriousness James and Francis are both very tradeable considering they put up a combined zero minutes yesterday.

Yes he was a factor off the bench. He was solid, one of the first off the bench, to the best of my memory.
