have you paid attention to how any of the balco stuff? or any other investigation related to steroids?
Uhhh, yeah. That is exactly what I'm saying, unless you think the players were going to the pharmacy themselves. Ever seen anyone deal Xanax? I'm sure that company has records, too.
If any of you don't think Clemens took roids and growth hormones, then you need to have your head examined. Seriously. Plus, Clemens should be on many other "report" for being a 40 year old dad and getting blonde highlights in his dome.
Yeah I have, I'm just saying it's dumb to be keeping records. There's no good reason to keep records of it.
It is so funny to me to read people talking about Companies and whether they keep records etc. All companies keep records they are required by law to show where the money came from, so if a steroid company manufactured the drugs, it is on record, then they passed it to a doctor or pharmacy, it is on record..then that company has to show whom they sold the drugs/steroids to, another record. There is a paper trail in every case, it may not lead directly to the user but it gets darned close, then you can squeeze the dealer and they will squak. If you have ever owned or operated a company that sold anything you would know that records are crucial and required by law. DD
Fatty are you seriously defending these guys? It couldn't be anymore clear that these baseball players were juiced up.
I have no doubt that baseball players used roids. But naming names without some really conclusive evidence is irresponsible to me. Particularly in a report like this. We'll see what's there soon enough.
Manny Ramirez is by far the most obvious juiced player on the current Red Sox roster. The fact that he isn't on here speaks volumes.
I agree. Especially since there is little incentive not to give the government names, which is what they want, in return for immunity. For Clemens specifically, the charges don't cover a wide swath of his career and don't coincide with a lot of his success, particularly with the 'Stros.
