Landry is benefitting from all the attention focused on Brooks in the preseason. He got no spotlight attention and quietly began to get some playing time. I remember when the board was saying to trade him or send him to the NBDL. Some of you even said to bring in Harris over him. Well, guess what. Novak and Brooks are now in the NBDL and Landry is still here. Harris is playing in China.

I'm telling you guys. Landry is a Baller! Doesn't say much, doesn't have to. He just plays hard and so far his game is doing the talking for him.

I like Hayes rebounds and hustle, but when you have him, Battier, and Rafer in the same starting lineup, you can't win with just scoring from Tracy and Yao.

If Landry gets more playing time, he'll develop into a Craig Smith type player on the Timberwolves. About an 11 pt, 5 rebound guys. A good role player.

Landry has good strength and he hustles for rebounds. I think he'd do just fine. He's much better on the offensive end than Chuck and he's taller. I think he'll work his way into the rotation since Deke doesn't play much and the Rockets don't have many backup big men.
