Mo said during halftime that it was looking more and more likely that he would be back this season. He said that he began on-court side-to-side drills today and was doing a lot better.

    Woo hoo.

Well, that guarantees that the Rockets will win at least ten games this year.

Taylor is a real punk. He sign that big contract and goes and gets injured. Then smoke grass and now looks like a blasted cow. What are these guy thinking? He needs to go to the OT school of upbringing and personal development.

Oh yeah you are right, lets blame him for trying to practice basketball in the offseason and getting injured. Its part of the game and so is the smoking. Also if you dont play basketball for a couple months, smoke weed and chill at home.. then you do look like a cow.

Next time think when you post something.

How dare Mo injure himself working out in the offseason... I'm sure he did it on purpose. What a punk. He should be sitting on his couch like that role model Cato, I take it?

Folks, injuries are part of the game. The point you all are missing is the lack of discipline on Taylor's part. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR HIM SWELLING UP LIKE THAT. THAT SHOWS A CERTAIN LACK OF CONTROL WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH HIS AFFECTION FOR GRASS. He is punk for not finding fruits and veggies, and fiber instead of pigging out.

Jeff seem to suggest we should be happy to have him back and I just wanted to remind all you dreamers that Taylor is useless to man or beast the way he is now. His weight alone will further delay his return. It is not like the joker was scoring 20pts and giving you 10 rebs. What is there to be excited about Let him stay where the hell he is and let the serious, dedicated, clean (grass-free) and fit athletes deal with turning this thing around.

Mo does have tendency for swelling up when he's injured...he did the same thing with the Clips! But I wouldn't get too concerned he's a hard worker and he'll be back in shape in no time! Before the injury I hear he was in the best shape of his life so I'm sure his desire to be in good playing condition will be there when it's his time to return.

How do you even know what his best playing shape is. Nobody could ever call Barkley skinny, but if he was, he would have sucked. Dont let your dislike of his act - smoking weed - lead you to make quick judgements. Taylor is a useful asset that this team could definitely use right now.

DearRock: There have been some pretty stupid posts on this board before...and you continuing that ugly tradition with your two in this thread. Excellent job.

Are you trying to cover up for Mo T by saying he could not exercise? Did Dominique become cow like when he went down with the same injury? Taylor was alway heavy and slow. He should take a page out of KT's book. When KT came out of college there was talk of him not being able to keep his weight down. Look at KT today. Most likely there is no grass in his business and he has changed his whole profile. Taylor problem is lack of control, plain and simple. You think I want to refer to him as a punk? Hell no, the man and all his handlers should know better. It is like Mrs Baker having lung cancer and she is still smoking.

Mo taylor is not a bad person especially not how you are portraying him and whether you like it or not he's a big part of our future. Thus, i suggest you either seek therapy to cope with him as a Houston Rocket, find a new home team or just shun the NBA in general.

He fits in our system very well and I for one can tell you how much more comfortable I am with him starting over KT, who seems to be better suited for a backup role. Plus as Pued said you know how to exercise on a torn achilles, this isn't a knee it's probably the most important part of your leg as it holds everything together.

About losing this game, am I happy: NO, but phoenix without steve for us is a matchup problem since marbury destroys mooch and penny can come close to matching mobley-if we had mo we would have a major adv at the 4. We should've won tonight as Calvin and Bill pointed out 7-14 on free throws is pathetic and decided the game ultimately, heck I bet i could shoot 50% or better even with a large crowd watching.

Get off your weed is bad high horse. This injury, thread and discussion has not, is not, and will not be about weed. Smoking it is like driving too fast. You get a ticket and move on. Please move on.

I cant wait till Taylor gets back.

DearRock: I think I speak for everyone when I say SHUT UP because the longer you talk, the more idiotic you sound.

Taylor has never even been suspected of sustance problems and he gets one positive id for weed and you harp on it like he's smoking crack in the alley behind the Compaq Center. You'd think he was buying smack from $30 prostitutes on Navigation Street!

You call him fat yet your only image of him was in a baggy sweatshirt standing next to Jeff Haggadorn who is smaller than I am. You have NO idea what Taylor looks like for real so stop trying to tell everyone you do.

You know, it sounds like DearRock is the one with the drug problem based solely on his posts in this thread. If he's sober, God help him.
