I think TMac can contribute for a quarter or two especially first quarter before he starts to chuck. That's where you sit him. As for Yao, I am very worried as he is currently bricking and I am not sure why. More practise?? I think he worked hard usually .. I just hope Yao has more confidence and is more focus
    when he try to score.

If McGrady wants Rafer around so damn bad maybe he should step up his shooting % and consistency. We can't afford our entire backcourt jacking up low percentage shots.

I guess Tracy needs a coach to tell him how to run the break? Wait, maybe Adelman his telling the guys "whatever you do, don't try to get an easy bucket!!".

I just think we need to stick to a freaking game plan. We always deviate back to our old ways when things don't go right. The spurs and suns win because they stick to their formula winning or losing. I see a lot of the old JVG offensive plays when we are behind. Have you noticed how well the backup players run the system when compared to our starters? Its just plain ridiculous. As much as I hate to say it, none of the starting 5 is capable of excelling in a motion offense due to their respective limitations.

I'd like to hear Clyde Drexler's opinion right now. Seem to have missed him the last couple games. He's such a big Adelman supportor. Wonder what he would say is wrong? We just missing shots??? He said that a while back. Can't believe he'd say that is what is wrong with us now. Also can't believe he'd say we are missing Rafer's game either.

What did TMac say that make everyone hate him so much?

He likes Rafer. He's guilty by association. Him, JVG, Rick A...

    all of them.

    guilty.

I can't believe any of you are taking this interview seriously. Do you honestly believe that T-Mac is going to say ANYTHING substantial when he's being interviewed by the two worst media personalities this side of Stuart Scott? I have boycotted "J-Money" and "Quagmire" since their second day on the air, and I believe it is one of the best life decisions I have ever made. They hardly EVER talk about anything informative, and when they do, they put a spin on it that can only be described as ass-backwards.

no .. . . he threw Steve under the bus
    He used his JVG-talk

I love the guy, he might get wild and isn't very good at all but . . He is a great guy and good for this basketball team . . he might go 1-23 most nights .. but he can catch fire and light up a team on any given night . . ..I mean . .this guy is great and I like having him here - example of T-mac/JVG speak

Man, he didn't have to say that about Francis. He could of said yeah Francis. I love the guy and he knows how to play the game. He's coming along well.

    Nuff said.

T-Mac, not a diplomatic bone in his body.

Funny, I thought I also heard him say Francis was a smart player, that Francis knows how to penetrate and create when the ball is kicked to him off of double teams on Yao/T-Mac.

I thought he gave a pretty fair view of Steve. In fact, I thought he was being nice when he said Steve is "not in game shape." To me that sounded like he was being very diplomatic, as it sounds a lot better than if he were to say something like, "Steve can't bring the ball up and his passing (other than on drive and kicks) is subpar."

    What's with the selective listening?

Got this translated transcript from tom.com.

Not sure whether it's 100% of what TMAC said on 790 AM.

in my book there is no running team or half court team there is only winning team and losing team. and unfortunately what i am seeing here is a losing team.

In this interview I don't think T-Mac is throwing anyone under the bus (exept maybe A_elman), but he's also not blowing sunshine. He just gave an honest assessment of our PG situation. He acknowledged Rafer can't shoot, yet he can run the offense better than any of our other PG's. He said Steve is quote-unquote "out of shape," (which I personally think is him having Steve's back, giving Steve an out, an excuse for the way he's played PG lately), yet he also praised Steve's ability as a finisher.

The problem with T-Mac is that he seldom turns that same critical eye onto himself. His silly jumpers early in the shot clock, his allergic reaction to the painted area, no mention any of that in this interview.
