It's become very obvious to me that McGrady doesn't get it...and he probably never will.

I hate to say it but he Rockets need to cut their loses with T-Mac. It needs to be done to get the franchise heading in the right direction. T-Mac "Is on Me" has gone and he just doesn't seem to care anymore about the team. Rockets need someone who has the passion to play for Houston.

Yao actually is a willing runner, not a fast runner, but he will run down the court when he is not tired. I just dont like Tmac stating that we dont run(implying we dont get easy basket) while he isnt doing it himself. He sets the tone for this team. It's very discouraging to his teammates in a way. On one end he doesnt seem to care much about defense, and on the other he is like, use a soccer analogy, those brazilian soccer forwards with tremendous talent and explosiveness but not active.

You saw how Scola did yesterday in the 4th when we had a stop. He was cheering for Kirk, pumping fists, and at the other end he was hustling. That's all I am asking for, I can accpet loss, but we lost without heart, Yao included.

Listen. I know exactly what TMac is doing here. He knows Yao Ming has all the pull in this organization. Yao is Les's money man. So by him saying Yao is the leader he is saying when Yao speaks you better listen to him jive turkeys.

He is one of the guys, who tells you what u want to hear. But if you look he takes high number of shots and produces 25 points...regardless if he having good or bad games or if it is 1st or 4th.

He talks good game, but I am not buying it ... He needs to go buy a heart and get some desire .... He mentioned in previous interview's that he does not have desire to play anymore ... retirement.

I say, Trade him cut our loses and we can win with one superstar if we have good pieces around Yao

Last thing that you want to see is that tmac and yao for fighting a leader, if tmac wants to be a leader, that is fine. If he does not, then let try yao. One of them has to be a leader. It looks like that Rick A does not want to be a leader for the team.

I didn't hear the interview but I definitely agree with what you're saying. Regardless of what he said, Tmac IS the focal point and leader of this team. He sets the tone for the entire team. But when he puts forth an effort or body language like he has the last couple of games, the guys around him also tanked too. I seriously think that he should be benched/and or get a spanking........
I also think that Yao also has to be blamed for this too. If you look at the games we have won, whether its this year or last year, we usually won because either one if not both the superstars carried the load. But looking back at the last couple of games Yao did not carry the load when Tmac tanked. But therein lies the dilemma: Adelman is starting to show his incompetence in-game coaching. He should've found a way to give the ball to Yao more or adjust the game when Tmac is gone. But then again I did not even bother to watch the game.....

Man Im ashamed to have rockets fans like most of the people on this board. Yes you have a right to frustrated and furious w/ the team's play as of late, but to lose faith in the rox like most have is just pathetic. This is a professional team that is in a transition period that will make some noise soon.

All we need is a decent winning streak (6-7 games, which is very possible) and guess what we will be several games over .500 again. Even if we suck the whole season and click the last 1 1/2 month and go on a nice run and sneak into the playoffs as the 8th seed I still believe we can get out of the first round. Do you really believe a rox team clicking on all cylinders cant beat a first seeded Spurs team? We match up well with them and seriously believe we could take them.

Even our injury plagued season we sucked so badly and still had a chance to sneak into the playoffs. Be patient and just sit and watch, dont lose faith in the team like most here have.

    recap of the interview

    - t-mac will definately play tommorrow
    - blamed his ankle injury on his shoes
    - glad that yao is finally is being local and showing signs of leadership
    - yao is the franchise of the team
    - rafer is the heart of the team
    - steve francis is still out of shape
    - team has no identity, they don't know if they are offensive team or defensive team
    - their running game under JVG was better than it is now
    - they are a half court team
    - all the talk about them being a running team and they're crap at it

Actually people were not mad at the losses, they were worrying about how the Rockets lost. Even if you are going to die, die with a pride!

    Rafer is a T-Mac Guy
T-mac plays better with T-Mac guys
    Rafer, Hayes, Battiers

Anyone that just doesn't cowtow at his feet. . . he seems to change his whole demeanor

    SF, MJames, Scola, bonzi

T-mac is mentally week. He is basically throwing SF under the bus at every opportunity to try and keep his b*tch Rafer around

He learned one thing from JVG
    How to play the Media
that Woe is me crap while throwing someone else under the bus

STEVE IS GREAT . . but he not in game shape and he ain't rafer . . . I know rafer cannot shoot or nothing but . . .he is better for this team - T-mac in his interview

February is not time to worry, it's time to relax, for fishing trips.
