Believe it or Not: We are only 6 games out of the 8th playoff spot!

I hate to admit when we were halfway into our losing streak, I wanted the rockets to go ahead and lose so we could get a good pick. I then started believing in the Rockets, and thats the reason why people are wanting the rockets to tank it, becasue they dont believe the Rockets can still make the playoffs. I believe they CAN make the playoffs now. A lot of the games we lost in that losing streak were close games going down the stretch with good teams. We could have won a lot of those games, and we should have won a lot of those games. I really do think the Rockets are still in it. We are not that far behind in the race for the playoffs.

 

If the freaking Wizards can pull off a nine-game win streak by golly, then so can the Rockets. I BELIEVE!!! (a la Heath)

 

If we were in the east we would be in the finals every year.

In the west with 8-20 we have no chance .

We are 8-20 now. There are 21 games before the break. Even with
Franchise, is 17-4 (or 16-5) possible?

IF Franchise is back this week, and IF the Rox can overcome the Suns, it could happen. Pencil the Lakers in for a Rox loss. There are only two back-to-backs (which is unfortunately also 4-games in 5 nights, Jan 18-22). Pencil at least one, and probably two losses in there. Still, there's no reason the Rox couldn't beat every other team they face. I predict they won't do it, but wouldn't be surprised to see them in the 21-22 win range, and in contention for the 7th or eighth spot at that point.
