God i wish yao would shutup. hes the one stinking up the joint the most. he he has some nerve. memo to yao, you went 3-11 last night. get you're own problems fixed
Shame on you TOF. The sole Rockets player that stinks the most is called Tracy McGrady!! Don't tell me how Yao shoots poorly. Your baby TMAC is not even close talk about shooting %.
Dumbass, show me a post where i defended mcgrady idiot. i've been calling for us to trade hes soft pathetic ass. yao is no different. he talks, talks ans still plays like a big stiff. get you're facts straight moron.
Yao = walking missing layups and turnover machine. he went for 3-11 last night. thats pathetic. mcgrady isnt to far either, but atleast he went for 5-8 shooting. sorry, but yao was the most pathetic last night.
I don't accept "your sorry". Take your sorry back TOF, it's rejected. Please compare their overall shooting %, not just last game.
I didnt say sorry moron. why should i?. it was a figure of speech dumbass. i was right. you touche Yao only fans are pathetic. yao needs to shutup and perform. i'm not a TOF. i'm a rockets only fan. no player is above the team.
What do you expect from someone who is 5'6". Oh, wait a second, he only *plays* like he is that height ....
If this is Yao's vocal leadership in action he needs to be one of those who lead by their actions only.
yao has been terrible lately. but so has tmac. at least yao tries hard every game, while tmac doesn't. right now, we have the talent. but, we're not using it. yao needs to go one more step and blame players. that way morey can start trading players. we don't have chemistry, and i'm not going to expect chemistry anytime soon.
So they're quitting on Adelman? Yao's quotes the past three times or so have all 'hinted' at some playing philosophy/attitude issues that he keeps saying need to change (not to mention the way he was being utilized in games, which he complained about too). Are you listening DaDa?
Probably because they still had a little of the old regime mentality when it came to things like defense. With that, they were allowed to be a little less proficient on offense... now, they're not stellar at ANYTHING. Also, probably because teams hadn't spent much time scouting their sets... they've obviously adjusted to this pseudo "high post" Yao, and his renewed softness that we thought he got rid of in 2004. But mainly, the whole team is coming off looking like whiners... and its all because they lost the one guy who kept everything in check (the coach). Chemistry may be the most important thing for a team like this... and it may be the biggest thing they're lacking right now.
Can not agree more. 6-1 is from JVG, 5-10 from RA, is it a simple math? Something is going to happen.
If they start blaming Adelman like some fans here are already that would be absolutely classless IMO.
I agree. I’m not a huge Adelman fan, but the man has had far more success in career than both Yao and Mcgrady. At least he’s been out of the first round once in his career. It might be wise to just shut up and listen to him instead of acting like a couple of spoiled brats.
Other jobs of Centers are to: 1. Score at a high FG% 2. Grab rebounds. 3. Defend the paint Apparently Yao is doing none of these. Lately, he has taken the "avoid foul" thing too seriously.
Call AB back from NBDL and start AB, Head, Bonzi, Synder and Scola. The others comes in as sub and show whether they are in hunger of a win or not. If not, they should be going back to the bench.
A high post weak passing Yao without cutters is disaster. Why? because he starts out away from the basket which is exactly what opponents wanted him to do last year. In Adleman's offense the name of the game is supposed to be find the center and cut. If nobody is cutting and Yao can't pass very well to cutting teammates then he's completely ineffective in the high post. The thing is, Adelman has got to find a way to run his offense more like the Lakers did with Kareem.
Man, there is something wrong with this team. Don't you agree? We used to beat 76ers by 50, now it is reversed. Trust me this trend will keep going on. Players are never wrong, coach is always the person being blamed. This is the NBA. Trading our players with current performance is just like turning Rox into a pawn shop. How much can we get back?
