    Well, Yao talks again [updated]

    http://sports.sohu.com/20071211/n253973474.shtml

Basically , the reporters says that Yao was depressed in the locker room, not for losing 2 in a row, but for his teammates' changes in attitude and spirit.

    Direct quotes:

"We are changing too fast, you know, I never felt like this"

"I feel like I was traded to another team, with people I am not familiar with. I really feel like I am in a new team."

    "No unity."

    [updated]

    http://sports.sohu.com/20071211/n253974066.shtml

"I don't deserve to be a starter. It is not about the performance.

Though from 25 pts and 11 rbs in New Jersy to a little more than 10 pts and less than 10 rbs this time, I am having up and downs; but every player will have up and downs, I know how to deal with it.

Right now my problem is mental."

Get set for more losses, big guy. Then you're really going to see the team fall apart.

God all I have seen him do is complain...why cant he just quit whining and do something on the court! (But I do like that he is becoming more vocal he just needs to dominate like he once did b4 his injury)

More proof that coaching has to be the problem. Rick is not keeping the guys together like JVG did.

If Yao does feel that way, he should call for a team meeting rather than talking to chinese media!

Hopefully Yao said some of this stuff in the locker room to his teammates, or on the plane ride back to Houston, or in the closed door meeting they may or may not have had after last nights poor showing.

Good to see Yao feeling strongly, time to mix things up for sure.

I am a bit surprised that Yao is whining like this...I know he is frustrated, but if he thinks there is a major problem he should do something about it.

Yao could lead this team, all he needs to do is play hard and not hesitate so much.

There must be some locker room problem, the brotherhood chemistry they always shared for last few seasons is gone.

Yao needs to stop whining and step his game up. We do not need a baby as one of our leaders. Could you imagine Jordan saying anything like this? He'd go out and score 60, then b**** slap every one of his teammates who weren't pulling their weight. They would be terrified to not give their all.

The next thing Yao will demand a trade.

Then we will know that he has really made the transition to America and the NBA.

Exactly man the guy just aint playing good basketball...his defense is average his rebounding is average...he can dominant in the low post but these days teams are finding it easier and easier to take him out of the game. IMO this team is not losing b/c of tmac but b/c of yao's limitations (he does give his all everytime but its just not good enough) This team would be better off if we could trade Yao and Battier for Kobe and Bynum. Bynum averages a double double and does everything better or the same as yao except for ft% and ppg (which would be equaled out w/ kobe) Plus bynum kobe tmac would fit RA's offense alot better.

I'll say it again. Stop bringing in Yao quotes from Chinese media, seriously.
The journalistic relationships are very different between US media and Chinese Media. If Yao really wants this to be in the media, he should to talk the Chron writers, in stead of just venting to Chinese Journalist friends - in a sense, that's what all those quotes really are, personal chats that are sensationalized into an article.

What separates you from that group, Yao? 3 for 11, 12pts against Phily? You are actually one of them.

    Lead by example.

I think that is just an excuse! Yao needs to explain to chinese fans why rockets keep losing. Chinese fans have high expectation for Yao and Rockets. Yao is afraid of facing them now. He has too much pressure. I think he is on the edge of breaking down.

How did your team go 6-1, Yao? How did your team get worse as you got more accustomed to the change?

Getting that feeling that T-Mac and Yao are going to throw Adelman under the bus here real soon.
