JVG was given a chance to come back, and he was going to come back. Unfortunately, he took too long to respond, and management stupidly just dismissed him. At least JVG was prepared and was into the game, Aldeman just sits there like he's "on the job". Somewhere, out there, JVG is having the last laugh.
I doubt he is laughing at all. He knew the team would be worse without him. I bet he just feels sorry for the guys he cares about.
The New york Knicks have been in hell ever since JVG left. Every other coach under perfomed with the talent they had. I don't know if that will happen in Houston.
The curse of JVG? Lol. If there was some way to bring JVG back. The fans should all pressure management to do it. Start a JVG chant by the Rowdies?
not laughing, I didn't mean that literally. His heart is still with the team obviously...hes prob hurting with the team
The starting lineup is a JVG team not an RA team. I think RA needs to change the lineup maybe switch Bonzi and Battier and Scola and Hayes
i was telling everybody jvg was a good coach because every player bought into the system.the guy just simply didnt bend and he didnt make excuess either...this whole we need to get chemisty and learn the offense stuff wouldnt have flew with jvg...he just was a coach that needed alittle help to get us over he topmand i still say we should have stuck with him and eventually we would have broke threw.he made players learn defense who were really not that good on defense to begin with.jut think if we would have kept him and actually got better defensive players?
The Rockets are floundering, but that doesn't mean JVG was the guy to lead them to the promised land. He's got his own baggage. I'll admit that I thought RA was a great pick up, and he still might be. One thing is clear, the Rockets aren't as talented as we thought they were. They don't have enough talent to field a solid starting five, yet still have something left for the bench.
The bad management decisions include: Picking up Battier instead of Gay Keeping Hayes Keeping Alston Why do the Rocket's love players who don't have basic basketball skills like *shooting*??
How often I have wondered that. Name one consistent shooter on this team. Didn't think you could. Actually, our 7'6" center comes closest, but he missed a ton of lay ups tonight.
