This team needs a private locker room team meeting. Players only. Yao's had quotes this past week that everyone needs more practice and more effort on the court. Tmac's pregame quotes tonight complained about the lack of motion against the Raptors. Clearly these two guys are aggravated not only at the situation, but at their teammates. And I'm sure they aren't the only ones. But instead of voicing their displeasure to the media and holding grudges on the court, everyone needs to vent their feelings directly, yell at each other in the locker room, and put it all out there and settle their issues. This thing could easily snowball to the point of no return.

Adelman also needs to grab the reigns and tighten up. Guys need to be held accountable for a lack of effort. Right now it's Groundhog Day and guys are repeating the same mistakes. I hope I'm not being another impatient fan, but I think it's obvious, even in many of our recent wins, there has been a lack of effort and focus.

(edit: sorry YugoRocketsFan, I didn't mean to mimic your thread title, I didn't take a look at the other topics at the moment)

I AGREE 100%...this is just a shame to see the season get shorter and shorter...we need to do something quick...get this back together..if the players dont want to be here, lets get them out..we need players that WANT to be here and are motivated

I can tell Mike James has chemistry issues with alot of other Rockets...he needs to go PRONTO, I don't care how sucky Rafer is, James is dare I say a cancer.

It is maybe time for Rockets management to have a couple meetings before 12/15/07 rolls around.. and we miss the chance to mix things up sooner than later.

Mix things up like they did a few years ago with the 2004-2005 squad with those mid-December trades, that seemed to work back then.

Hmm...maybe Rafer Alston having one of the highest +/- 's on the team ISN'T a statistical aberration after all.

The two super stars need to stop being lazy and play their game. Battier is a not good in this system much more effective in a jvg system. Hayes seems to make the first bucket of the game, but after that there is nothing he brings in offense I think we should start Scola and let Motumbo play back up center. Even with Rafer starting this team was still not that great so you can't say he is the reason we lost.

Easy guy. Sorry, I didn't get to watch every minute (I was also working), so I must have missed this tidbit.

Actually it's quite worrying if they had a team meeting and this performance is what happened afterwards. It means these guys really aren't getting along and a drastic change may be needed.

if tracy is upset about the lack of motion, then maybe he should cut to the hole when yao is in the post.

i saw him just standing around, which allows his man to sag over onto yao...

I don't think I've seen TMac run all year. He just jogs or walks around.

It is a sad day in Rocketland. Things are not going well and I have not heard what Morey has said about the current situation. I don't know what kind of trade will work to get this team to be respectable?? The 15th can not come soon enough. I will not be able to watch the Dallas game since I will be watching the Vipers play.

I say TMac needs to get his act together and play the damn game. If he drives to the damn hole more and be abit more aggressive Im pretty sure his teamates will back him up. All he does now is chucking up shots, throwing away every possessions and you expect the others to try hard. Ya right man if I was on the team Ill say screw you b****.

That's why you're not anywhere close to being on the team.

Anyway, I think you guys are confusing team meeting with players only meeting. They need to have a players-only meeting and air some of this S#$% out. Get back to just playing basketball.

Did you guys see tmac and yao talked to each other at all? I am afraid the damage would be permanent. They are not like shaq/kobe, if they do not like each other any more, they cannot work together.

Also, when tmac was doing that 'I was really hurt' act at the end of the first half, nobody even cared, not even a timeout was called.
