I had this happen to me about 2 months ago...I got hit in the hand at the gym...It swelled up and went down in about a week, but was painful to the touch for a month and a half... Go to the Dr....
But what's your copay for a doctors visit? I have a $1,000 deductible too but it never entered into the equation until I needed to have surgery. It only costs me $25 to go to the doctor.
Well, it's 25 bucks for me to go to the doctor... And that seems reasonable enough...but if anything is actually wrong, then I need 1000 bucks for the deductible...but if that's not the case then I went to the doctor for nothing anyway!
But it's probably not going to come to surgery and getting pins and stuff. The doctor could just set it and put it in a splint. I've cracked a bone in my left shoulder twice and never had to have surgery or even wear a cast. I just had to wear this thing that kept my arm strapped to my side and stomach until the bone healed. Don't worry about surgery and the deductible until you see the doctor. You could be worrying over nothing.
LOL Okay, you guys are pretty persuasive...I'll go to the doctor a week from Wed. If I end up wasting 25 bucks...VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE
my hands are the same, my index finger and the middle finger have noticeable knuckles, the other 2 (ring and pinky) are flat looking but with really small knuckles that you cant really notify. It can just be that you have just a little bit of swelling...
