    In honor of the Vick sentencing today, I thought it would be fun to get together a list of the top dumbasses in sports history that pissed it all away.

    Here are a few off of the top of my head:

    The Vick brothers
    Pete Rose
    Ricky Williams
    OJ Simpson (his image was ruined even though he didn't go to jail)

    define "pissed it all away".

    i mean, if an athlete gets a fat contract, doesn't live up to it, but still has all the money...it's not really pissed it all away, right?

    To me 'pissed it all away' means that they did something stupid to blow their careers/lives.

    Shawn Kemp definitely comes to mind first. I know he's been mentioned already, but he deserves a second mention, lol.

    Len Bias, too. I know it was tragic, but it was also stupid on his part.

    Bryant Reeves for eating himself out of the league.

    :rolleyes: That story was blown up because people needed something to talk about. Like he was the first one to ever compare sports to war... He's having a pro bowl season and helping his team make the playoffs.

    Winslow could also be on the list for his motorcycle accident that blew up his leg and knee.

    He plays in pain every game and his career will be significantly shortened.
