I heard Slash on the Jim Rome show the other day. I think he said it was finished, but Axl is weird and didn't want to release it yet.

 

i've been anticipating this album for years. someone here posted an interview sebastion bach who said axl's actually has three albums in the making, but axl's just being axl.

i love the songs that have leaked though.

 

surprisingly, me too. i heard the same thing - basically, they have a triple album fully completed, but axl is too much of a perfectionist - he isnt ready to put it out yet. there is an ass-load of money riding on that album and an even bigger ass-load to be made off it, but it wouldnt surprise me if it never sees the light of day.

on a related note, my bloody valentine just reunited and claim to be working on the follow-up to their 1991 album, loveless, which is the greatest album ever made in the history of music (imo).

 

I wonder if this album will be release by the time China's political system actually turns into a democracy.

 

Then it will be changed to Venezuelan Democracy

 

Now this is an out of the blue reunion -- Loveless never gets old.

they have shows booked in the uk in june - im thinking about going - just make sure i bring earplugs!

and kevin shields said they had about 2 albums worth of material done in the 90's - he said the next album will be about 2/3rd stuff from the mid-90's and the other 1/3 will be new.

 

I saw them in 92' I believe at Liberty Lunch in Austin -- wall of sound.

i wanted to go to the houston show, but i didnt have a car and couldnt secure a ride till day of show, at which point it had already sold out

i hated to miss that show, but my ears are probably better for it.

whats funny is that the last mbv album came out the same year the last guns album did (91-92). lets see who gets the followup out first? there have been a few rumors over the years of new mbv material, so ill believe it when i see it.

 

yeah that was with D.Jr - both bands were at their absolute peaks so it was a crazy good show. Liberty Lunch was such a perfect venue for that type of show.

 

Did Slash play on the album? I thought it was Buckethead.
I am soooooo confused.

 

why would anyone buy this album? its going to be terrible
