I know both teams I hate, but i have to want the jazz to win more this game so we can get closer to catching up with Mavericks in the division.
I hate the Jazz more but I wouldn't mind if they beat the Mavs. Create some doubt in their minds about winning against physical teams.
The Rockets gain a half game on someone either way. The only problem with trying to catch the Mavs is we're down 0-2 in the season series already. At least we're 1-0 against Utah, so we have a better shot of passing them.
Yes! Mavericks win. We can overtake both the Jazz and Mavericks by the end of the month. We are only 1.5 games behind them, but they have played an easier schedule than us. As their schedules toughen, a 2 game drop wouldn't be out of the question.
i only caught the end of this game but it was entertaining, especially when Howard and Harpring were going at it. there was that one good dunk by Dirk but at the end of the play he was looking for a foul. during the slow motion replay, someone barely touched his forearm and then it showed him grab his arm like it was broken.
Why is anybody worried about how many games back the Rockets are? It's the beginning of freaking December...
