I finally got the RAM and installed it today. Well, I got the memory on eBay quite a while ago, but finally received the package about a week ago, and finally had the time (and balls) to put the stuff in. I put four sticks totaling 128 Mbs in, which is the maximum. The first three were no problem, but the last one was all smashed up next to some crappy wires, and me and my pudgy fingers had a hell of a time getting that tiny b*stard in there. For some reason, I thought they (the sticks of RAM) were bigger... I got them in and started it up, and everything worked like a charm. ----------------------------- DoD, On the SuperDisk: They have a new one out. It can put up to 200 MB on one of its SuperDisks, and it can format a normal 1.44 MB floppy to hold 60 MB... How's that for all those useless floppies you have laying around? I think the technology is still inferior to the CD-RW, but it's probably easier to use.
Well done DREAMer -- now you're on your way to being a nerd like the rest of us. Before you know it you'll be overclocking and case modding . . .
