I can't decide if the Nets just make the Rockets look good, or the team really was a little more in sync. They looked pretty good. Then you see the Jazz and the Spurs playing and you think, can we beat either of these two in a seven game series? Not at the moment. Williams is playing better than last year, and waves of talent just keeps coming off both benches. I really wish the Rockets were in the East; it would be alot more fun. But, tonight, I enjoyed watching the game.

The reason why the Nets make the Rockets look good is that they play 4 on 5 on offense. Collins is just a big stiff. Also, they don't front Yao which gives us more options on offense.

In the same way, we can make teams look good because we go *3* on 5 on offense if they front Yao.

Team defense, buddy. It wasn't just Oberto.

Plus, he scored 28 pts and grabbed 17 boards to go with 4 assists. Just another game for Boozer. He does it to just about every team.

I understand your first point, but I don't get your second. Boozer scored 26 pts. against the Spurs and pulled down 17 rebounds. Couldn't score on Oberto? Both teams looked awfully strong to me with endless benches. Williams is an absolute load.

Very entertaining, tmac put on a show and Yao had a good night too.

a win, but the team didn't run the offense much, it was mostly throw it into yao and give it to tmac. the defense wasn't bad but the nets are a horrid offensive team, so really the defense wasn't as good as it looked.

11:9, we are only two games behind Jazz (13:7), and Jazz is currently the no.3 in WC. We are still able to make the top three teams in WC. :D

Brilliant analysis with 62 games left in the season.

    Absolutely brilliant!

Great individual efforts by Yao and Tmac. They had their share of the game when one or the other just took over. But the team effort was just average tonight. I still wanna see guys like Mike James, Steve Francis, Luis Scola, etc. to be more intergrated into the offense.

Also, what's up with Bonzi Wells? I don't know if I'm the only one speculating this, but it seems like Bonzi periodically takes nights off and just puts his game on cruise-control. In tonight's game, he wasn't aggressive at attacking the basket like he did last game and just settled for jumpshots. And this was with Boki Nachbar guarding him most of the way. This has happened before; Bonzi would rack up a couple of 18 pt./8reb. type games and then would disappear for the next 2 or 3 games. And then repeat the cycle. Is this simply a matter of inconsistency or just laziness?

Parker always had problems with bigger point guards. Chauncey did the same thing.

Juan Carlos Navarro was covering him against Memphis.

It is often an issue of matchups. Despite what some people say about Bonzi, he usually plays hard. If he is not scoring, he is grabbing rebounds or getting steals like he did tonight. He is a multi-dimensional player that can impact a game without putting up points.

Fair enough, but he is still overrated. His French ass just don't have that much game at the end of the day. Besides his speed, there is little else.

I guarantee Rafer would look as good as Parker if he was a Spur.

Parker is nothing more than the product of a good system.

Oh My Lord. Have you watched any Spurs game except for selected playoff games when admittedly Parker was off/choked? Parker makes layups in traffic as well as anyone in the NBA, and his shooting is vastly improved. No one ever said his defense was great, but then the same can be said for Baron Davis, Chauncey Billups, etc. I'm not saying he's better than Paul or Williams or anyone like that, but are you seriously equating him to Rafer? Wow.

I hate the Mavericks, Suns, Jazz, etc., but you've gotta hand it to the Spurs. Those guys just know how to win games. Sickening.
