    1) The Lives of Others
    2) Into the Wild
    3) Bourne Ultimatum
    4) Michael Clayton
    5) Zodiac
    6) SuperBad
    7) Mr. Brooks
    8) Reign over Me
    9)American Gangster
    10) 300

I haven't seen Knocked Up or Rocket Science as yet.
I didn't really get No Country for Old Men, thus its not on my list.

I didn't realize how few movies I saw this year. So many that I'm struggling to post 10 that I saw and liked, as opposed to trimming a list down to 10. Hell, I'm even throwing in I Am Legend simply because I need to fill a spot and I know I'm going to like it a lot.

    1) Into The Wild
    2) I Am Legend*
    3) Reign Over Me
    4) Knocked Up
    5) Zodiac
    6) Superbad
    7) 300
    8) Beowulf
    9) Transformers
    10) Hot Fuzz

I'm not sure how I did, but I completely forgot about Reign Over Me until just the other day when I saw something about it on TV. It's just one of those movies that when you leave the theather or get up off the couch, you know you're better off than you were before you saw it. I'm going to have to suggest that one to my mom now that it's on DVD.

I didn't watch many, but both "Knocked Up" and Transformers, IMO, were awful.

Damn, I forgot The Lookout. It'd probably be around 7 on my list.

I dog eared This Is England when I saw the preview but never got around to seeing it. Is it easy enough to find at Blockbuster, or would I have to order it online? I don't have netflix or anything :(

    1) My Kid Could Paint That
    2) Lars and the Real Girl
    3) Grindhouse
    4) I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With (had to watch it on IFC on Demand, damn midwestern multiplexes)
    5) The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
    6) Amazing Grace
    7) September Dawn (apologies to any LDS members)
    8) Elizabeth the Golden Age
    9) Breach
    10) Into the Wild
Honorable Mention: Lions for Lambs (I think it's more balanced than the general public; and will be better regarded 10-15 years from now, particularly Mr. Cruise)
Sight unseen, I'll go ahead and assume Charlie Wilson's War and Juno will be in my top five.
