6 straight win, my second fav team in the L, Baron, Monta, Steph, Al, Andris Wow Btw the Magic is doing pretty well too damn! My Rockets need to step up
schedule was easy for them and they caught the suns and rockets in a slump. they'll lose to the magic next up.
My 2nd fav team too. What they did to Dallas. The way they did it. Beautiful. Every sports fan should own a "We Believe" shirt.
They're 10-8 and have the worst defense in the league. They're a long way from "for real". We already know they can't beat Utah. They'll get trounced by San Antonio. I think they'll be treading .500 by the all star break...
they started winning when they got SJax back. As Kenny said, he puts people back in the natural position.
If BD and Jackson both stay healthy, they will definitely be above .500 by the All-Star break. The trouble is they are very dependent on both of those guys being on the court. Golden State is not a Finals contender. Teams that can rebound like the Jazz and Spurs will always dominate them in a playoff series no matter how good they shoot. That roster can only go so far. Not having a consistent inside scorer is their downfall. spysta, with Azabuike's growth and Monta Ellis, JRich would be redundant. What they need is another big man that can grab key rebounds late in close games.
i thought they would regret letting j rich go, but i was wrong. monta, jackson, and kelenna have more than filled in. BD is far and above the muscle of this team and as he goes, so goes the team generally. obviously he is deadly when hot, and arguably the best overall 1 in the league. between his size, penetration, man-on-man defense and his scoring, he has more impact on the game IMO than even holy nash. their supporting cast is long and athletic, when they are hitting shots are probably a shot to beat anybody. a 7 game series will be tough. this team could end up as high as a 5 seed, but probably 10th or lower on my list of probable eventual champs. teams that rely on outside shooting typically rise and fall, and have a tough time making the long run. a3po, i agree they need another big man, they always get dominated by teams who know how to rebound. i know the trade for brandan wright was mostly a salary dump, but you have to think they could have gotten SOMETHING more for him. couldn't even get a higher draft pick like yi?
I agree, one of my favorite teams and I was suprised when they didn't keep J-Rich. He was the face of the franchise, he was there before everyone else on that team now.
Baron Davis is the face of the franchise now, and they are just as good w/o Richardson b/c Monte Ellis has picked up his game. That move saved them a lot of money and will allow them to pay Ellis when the time comes.
I'm wondering if Jackson never miss all those games from the suspension, would they be 14-4 right now...
