That 50% is from 3 games. The Rockets don't need an undersized unathletic two-guard. Anyway I doubt Morey would ever trade for him he was pretty dismissive of Redick in an interview after they made the Battier-Gay trade.

The problem with Steve (dont get me wrong hes awesome) is that I dont think his game is not condusive to the role that we need our guards to play. Option 1 - hit the backdoor cutter for a layup
Option 2 - give it to tmac, pick and roll/pop with yao
Option 3a - post yao and have yao shoot
Option 3b - post yao, pass to a cutter for a layup
Option 3c - post yao, pass away form the double team, and another pass goes to an open player
Option 4c - high/low with yao and scola

    francis doesnt fit in ...

If Adelman is the player's coach that everyone professs him to be, then he will find some way to incorporate Stevie into the system. I never thought I would say this, but he is going to be imperative to our success, because he's the only one capable of being our emotional leader - inserting much needed intensity into our play. If we compete hard for 48 minutes, even if we don't play well, we should be able to win on talent alone.

Hey guys, i was watching someold Steve Francis Highlights on youtube and i noticed in his two years in Orlando (not too long ago) before his knee injury, he was posterizing players like Tim Duncan, Alonzo Mourning, Chris Mimh, ect... I was in awe because i dont even think tmac has posterized this many people in his whole career with houston...do you guys think Steve Francis wil still capable of this or is it gone?

    Heres a video for reference

He can still do this stuff. He's mainly lost a step cause he didn't work out that hard this summer. He's only 30 yrs old. By contrast, T-Mac is 28 yrs old. Shane Battier is 29 yrs old. Yao is 27. Rafer is 31 and James is 32. He had sore knees but so did D-Wade. Wade was hurting 10 times more than Francis. He had shoulder surgery and surgery on his knees cause he had jumpers knee. That's way worse than anything Francis. Nobody on this bulletin board would question D-Wades play.

as much as all of you and i want stevie to start, we really shouldn't make it that big a deal right now. chances are, i believe he'll be starting soon enough anyway.

and about that vid ... im not sure Francis can do ALL of what he did in that video anymore. But I do believe he can still get up plenty high. An athletic pg who can dunk ... we havent had that since he was here.

if you look for his mixes with the knicks, he's totally not the same player. he's shooting more jumpers and layups with them.

And I'm just thinking ... maybe if Rafer is going to do his infamous teardrop ... he might as well make more of an effort to create the angle to bank it off the glass. just my 2 cents ...

To get more out of Francis, Francis needs to START EVERY GAME!!!!!

I like Rafer I was never against him, he brings play making skills to our roster and our starting lineup but he will be happy to even come off of bench and still provide us with what he does but SF is not the same he is an emotional player he will play better even like how he used to if he STARTS and gets close to 28 mins! We need offense in our starting lineup which we severely lack with Rafer, Battier and Hayes. To be very effective or effective at all offensively we need that third scorer to play alongside Yao and Tmac through out the game, starting first half and second half!! and YES I do believe SF can be our third scorer if he is given more minutes and a starting position! and as we all know to go along with his offense, penetration he mainly brings Energy, Excitement, and Toughness not just to the fans but to his teammates also!!

I know all this sounds pretty obvious but my main point is that he needs to start and given at least 28 mins per game!

You know... when we started this season I told myself and told one of my friend that this season we should average at least 107ppg and to be honest I know our team is still adjusting to the new offense so I am not as upset as I wanna be BUT I still think by the end of this season we should average between 105-107 ppg and to do that we all know which players needs to get more minutes.

Go Steve! Go Rocks! I'm by your side no matter what!!

Do you mean to tell me you don't want another white one-trick-pony shooter that would never, ever under any circumstances play? ;)

Rafer is our most consistent and best complementary point guard, which is why he'll be starting the whole season and get the majority of the minutes. Francis will only be as big of an impact as Mike James.

I am really tired watching Ofer's bricks. Also I think MJ is leaving.

Possible. MJ's salary is a little bigger than Rafer's ... if you want to get a bigger salary player, then Battier, Rafer and James are what you have to work with.

I don't understand how you give Steve Francis 10 minutes and Mike James 5 minutes. We'll have to see if that's a matchup decision by Adelman, or if he's going back to the heavy minute Rafer nightmare.

The main problem for Francis is he is fouling too much. Averaging 7 personal fouls per 48 minutes and he had 2 in 10 minutes last night. Adelman considers Rafer by far the best defender, and Francis the worst which is also a factor. I did expect Steve to play more last night though. Who knows if it was the quick fouls, or if Adelman just liked how Rafer was running the offense, or if Steve's back acted up after playing some and they decided to give him more rest since he wasn't needed. The sad thing is other guys aren't shooting drastically better than Rafer. Rafer actually has the best AFG% by a slight margin. It's just that Rafer has the ugliest misses imaginable. They often aren't even close, not even hitting the rim.

Yesterday Tracy played 42 minutes so MJ had 6 minutes only to play assuming that RA had figured out Tracy and MJ cannot be co-existed.

Yao is not happy with James too so I guess Morey is working on moving him somewhere the East.

Just hope that one of guards can go to the other teams, then the rox can get a better starting PG.

Looks like instead of playing James or Francis, Adelman is going with more TMAC at the point???

I was really surprised to see very limited minutes for James or Francis yesterday. Especially after the days off where they should have gotten their main rotation more reps.
