I just watched Boiler Room for the first time...It was pretty good...Nia Long is hawt... Next on my list is Knocked up, which I plan to watch tonight...
Watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer but that has been several days ago. This was Kubrick's way of paying homage to Stephen King's story. I have never read the book (although I do own it), but apparently there is at least 1 maybe more chapters dedicated to one of the former owners (I think) of the hotel. He was well-known to have male lovers and one year came to the costume ball with his male lover dressed as a dog (but I have to admit that the guy in the costume looks more like a bear but he is supposed to be a dog). So that scene references that story in the book. Knowing Kubrick, he probably threw that in there not only to reference the book but also knowing that he would get a lot of "WTF??" from people. Agreed completely. Oh by the way, the first time I really watched "The Shining" all the way through, I couldn't go to sleep for like the next 3 days. It still is my favorite horror film of all-time.
Well technically I don't have anything in my DVD players since they're turned off right now. But last thing I watched was a few minutes of both Old School and Anchorman. I got them the other day on HD-DVD and wanted to see how they looked.
Taxi 4, Superbad, Pirates: At World's End and Paris Je T'aime are what I've watched so far this week on DVD. I've gotten a handful of screeners in the mail the past few weeks (Margot at the Wedding, 3:10 to Yuma, The Kite Runner, Zodiac, Away From Her, Into the Wild and Knocked Up), but I've only managed to motivate myself to watch one so far (Knocked Up).
The Office season 3. I'm trying to rekindle my love for the show since this season is such a disappointment
