Ok, I've got kiddos toy's that I need to purchase for Christmas. The kids I'm shopping for are aged 1-9, but obviously older toys will work here, also.

Anyone know some of the "must have" toys this year? Some good bargains. What girls are asking for, etc?

My 10 yo daughter and her friends are all over Pixel Chix.

For girls under 6 or so, hard to go wrong with My Little Pony or Care Bears.

well, you want to start off with making sure these toys do not have lead in them.

I saw this commercial for some new Elmo doll that laughs but it also does something else. In the commercial Elmo is blurred from the neck down and his hands are moving fast. So.. I can only assume this one will be called Masturbating Elmo.. but I cannot confirm.

For boys, you can't go wrong with building blocks. Huge mega blocks for up to two or three, Duplos for up to four or five, then Lego blocks. It's rewarding for you, too, because it's amazing to see them create something from nothing.

Its like $2k and they got the star wars poker chip set, the R2D2 that responds to voice commands. The double sided light saber that darth maul used.. man.. amazing stuff.

As Harrisment said, little girls really love Hannah Montana. So buy something Hannah Montana related and she will probably think you are the greatest uncle/friend/relative ever.

I got that for my son last year...it's fun and all, but can lead to frustration...
