Marbury's dad died at the Suns game.

    They told him. He was protected in the training room after the game with the Knicks owner so the press couldn't get to him. He came out about 25 minutes later, shouted a Bible verse to reporters, and was taken away by security so nobody could get or talk to him.

    They told him after the game? Maybe they thought it wasn't too serious and that they'll tell Marbury as soon as the game is done so not to create any commotion. The whole team is hanging by a thread anyways before they implode. But if this is what happened, I understand why the organization decided to tell him later.. although I don't agree with it. My condolences is with the Marbury family.
