[Chron] Adelman, Rockets press issue on fouls for Yao

You know.....I just recently saw the game for the first time.....and what I noticed was that......the refs SUCKED <<<<<<<<<<<<<BIG PRONS<<<<< (sexual innuendo btw)

I seriously hate the ref's attitude towards officiating big men, especially Yao. Its like they ignore him but yet call fouls on him at every opportunity (though it was not so bad before this game).
Hopefully Yao's ejection can offer the committee to look back at the tape and see that they *ucked up the game.

 

Seriously, ref CANNOT get away with failing their jobs so easily. They can't be allowed to consistently favoring certain players/teams (DWade) while murdering others.

I'm not sure if this had been done, but Yao should call out individual ref's NAME in press conference. Instead of complaining about his 3rd and 5th foul, he should say something that contains "... ref Jeff's call at half way thru 3rd quarter ...". Then hopefully ESPN or whatever will take the hint and play that part of the clip along with the conference talk over and over. So yeah Jeff, now your name, your face, and how much you suck at your job is made official to the world.

If Yao does this a couple times then the entire Rocket team will benefit quite a bit from such psychological warfare, especially during playoff.

 

Not, a big deal. JVG did the same thing, then spoke out about it and got fined. Nothings gonna change. Yao will always be officiated this poorly. There's really nothing he can do about it except foul them harder next time.

 

Maybe he can't do much in the game, that's why he should press the issue himself outside the game.

 

I think it is not enough, Yao needs to make a bigger stink and to the US press.

Shaq does it....Yao should too, maybe put in some racial undertones.

The NBA refs in the past haven't given calls to foreign players who come into the league, or they'll just not give them the breaks they would give most NBA players who are American. I feel that Yao is no different in this case.

 

It's got nothing to do with race. it's because the league has two different rules for big men and primeter players.

 

You want the fact. Let me give you the fact then.

The fact is: Yao will keep fighting the odds in the NBA. And you would flatten out and go home. So Yao is a warrior. And you are a coward.

Like i said in the other thread, Yao cares more about his money in the pocket than winning the ball game.

I remembered last season when JVG spoke out for yao and get fined 100k, yao was awarded 20+ FTs the next game!
Now the rockets desperate need yao to shoot 20FTs the next game against the Grizzlies in order to win!

 

Meaning that you pay the money, you win the game in NBA, no money no win.
