Rick do not know how to use yao correctly,Yao did everything he could ,he played actively every game,he tryed his best,wo can't blame him.Yao is in the best time of his age.
i really cannot understand why some can say the problem is on yao. ok then yao go, lakers? that's what i want to see yao is a guy that very kind, on the other hand, kobe is spirited. and ! kobe is used to play with a all-star center. i think they can cooperate very well. go yao !wins the cham. with kobe!
really really dont no why he couldnt even get the ball since 3Q...no matter it is RA's strategy or teammates decision...
OK.let's trade Yao to any NBA team. then would you could please to tell me who can we get by this trading? T.D?K.G?K.B?even you? what is the hell fans are you?I will send mail to alexanda and tell him to trade ROX to you.
You guys are a bunch of turncoats. Yao played his heart out and got tossed after scoring 29 in badly called game, and the solution is to trade him? Mark Cuban or Phil Jackson would be sending a video to the league right now of Kevin Martin raking him along the face on double teams, Mikki Moore pathetically trying to grab his arm on any rebound. The game was lost because are role players put up yet another donut, we get 29 from Yao and 40 from T-mac and still lose, Yao and T-mac aren't the problem. Trade your players because of terrible offiaciating? Go back to the Utah fan site, or where ever you came from this is a Rockets fan site you idiots, you know nothing about basketball.
This is hard to take seriously. The only one who actually cares is the one who's letting the team down? I'll gladly take him getting tossed if it means he shows some sort of emotion on a more consistent basis. That could do wonders for the team.
guys, calm down. Ask you a simple question: will Yao be treated fairly? I think the answer is NO. It has been 6 years. Enough is enough. If he is doomed to be treated with prejudice, is that going to hurt the team? I think the answer is YES: fouls, turnovers, and switch of the momentum hurt the team. What are we going to do? This is not to blame Yao who gives 100% every game. It is painful to watch him being treated like a clown on the court. How can Rox get a ring if your pivot of on both offense and defense ends gets bad calls? What is the solution other than trading him away for some good players and first round picks? Please tell us if you have a better plan.
No, Yao may never ever "treated" fairly. If he was, he would score 40 points on every night. Yet, he still put in 29 points on 15 shots on a bad officating night. Do you read what others have said? The problem wasnt Yao's. Get it?
Repeating the same thing you started the thread with doesn't make it any less silly. What's the better plan? Play team basketball with a great post player, Yao has improved every year and he hasn't peaked. This silly plan of trading him away to another team, is just one of the more asinine ideas Ive read on this forum in a long time. Yao has adapted throughout his career, refs will make bad calls on some nites adn won't on others
I think they once said the same about Olajuwon and life in the NBA. I Underatand your point but, you don't solve problems by running away from them. You solve them by confronting them. If Yao bolts, THEY win! He's got to be courageous, inspired and determined. At least here on the court, he has a fighting chance. Jack Sikma can and WILL help Yao to become more knowledgeable about tactics. Keep your chin up.
I don't care about whether Yao is the most dominant center in the leage or not. Yao is Yao. He is a Chinese player. He is tall but not strong. He doesn't have the body as Shark or Horward. They are different players. They have different cluture. Maybe Yao will never win a champinship, but he is great. The last but not the least, the NBA game is the game of American players. I m not good at English. Don't laugh at me.
To anybody who wants to trade YAO 1, Manager will never do that because of his value, both on the court and off the court. 2, If he want to be traded, he will say so and he makes the decision, NOT YOU 3, The team is getting better and better in the past years, now we have Steve and Scola, let's just be PATIENT, it is only 18/82 4, The team is built for the play-offs right?
I agree with you on most points. But I think the refs are making bad calls on yao in most games and dont give the call when he's obviously fouled, and it seems like this has been a routine rule to penalize Yao once any other small ass collide with him,no matter who rush into another and who first take the good position.I can see it'll be a foul if Yao's Fine Hair touched with the small ass's ,according to the refs' rule.On the other end, the dworf can clip Yao's arms without being called a foul?!That's meaningless to continue such a extremely partial game.If the situation were reversed and the refs took sides on Yao,Rockets would beat them 100-40 every single game.It cant happen? You guys can see it in Beijing Olympics the next year, then you can know what can be a double standard. Sorry,Im just a little pissed. But actrually how can the game go on if there's such a double standard? Can Yao defend anyone anymore in such a ****ing rule?I totally doubt.
you gotta kidding me man!TRADE YAO for first round picks?then wait for another 5 years?or more?are you that crazy??
