Head coach Rick Adelman said the Rockets registered their complaints with the NBA office over the treatment of Yao Ming in the Sacramento game.

Yao fouled out and was given a technical foul after his sixth personal.

"We're always doing that," Adelman said. "(Yao) got frustrated. It seemed like the calls he got, the big guys are at a disadvantage. They don't want to give them calls."

I think he was really frustrated when Brad Miller ran over him. He stepped in front of him. It wasn't that he got a foul call. There was no call.

"The official said, 'I didn't think there was enough contact.' That's really not a great explanation. Sometimes they call them with no contact. Here's a 7-footer and a 7-6 guy, they fell down, a collision. I said, 'If you want to call a foul on him, fine. But don't just say it's nothing.' I think that's what Yao was really frustrated with. Then from what I saw, he didn't hardly touch the guy when they fouled him out. He has a right to get a little frustrated sometimes."

Good thing Yao has twice the brains you have.

Now take your marbles and go suck your thumb at home.

What reaction are you looking for?

General anger? Political debate? Racial debate? David Stern hate? Jeff Van Gundy love? Let us know, I'm sure someone will oblige.

This is a good thing - the more attention Yao's fouls get, the more consistent the calls will get. And then Yao can adjust properly.

Great job rick. you know, when a scrub like udrich gets more respect then the best post scorer in the league, a allstar, ALL NBA 1st teamer, you know something is not adding up. i dont thing it's got to do with yao's race, i just think they think because he's so big, he should be at a dis adve, even shaq went through it.

Yao gets the worst officiating in the league. he gets a avge of 3.5 fouls a game. dwight howard has the same problem (3.5) it seems the league has two different rules for the bigs and the smalls.

Anyone also notice tracy seems to get raped and he regulary recives no calls. artest was handchecking him all night and he was getting away with it.

If I were Yao, I'd say something in the post-game interview along the lines of: hey, maybe we should have the FBI invovled in tonight's officiating. In a half jokingly way of course. Then I'm sure the league will take notice.

Stop whining ONLY to the Chinese media, please. What good does it do?

If he plays ticky tack, they'll call ticky tack. Hakeem and Deke foul much harder than Yao. They also have received fewer ticky tack calls from the refs.

Wrong. You don't play defense with the intention of fouling, unless that's the only way to stop opponents from scoring. I'm sure with Yao's weight and strength, he can foul as hard as anybody when opponents come close to the basket. But he'd foul out in one quarter.

Great job, Rick! That's the way to handle it - file official complain, nicely. After all, it is a loonnnggg season.

I could live with David Stern hate but I guess that is a thread for the NBA forum.

I'm just pointing out a fact. Yao will never get any respect here. You can call me a coward for indicating the obvious, but it doesn't change the facts.

NBA refs are horrible. the league is becomming a joke. they allow no contact whatsoever and the contact they do allow doesnt go both ways. they should tae a look at Euroleague.

Honestly, I don't care if the refs are gonna be more strict or less strict on the fouls. What I care about is the refs calling 'em on both ends of the court. Yao should be getting the same treatment that other centers are getting. The problem is, he's not getting equal treatment.

My point exactly. Go home Yao. Your kind (> 7') isn't welcome around here.
