Never pissed me off. I liked him. With our new offensive weapons he would have shown what kinda offense he could come up with.
If the Rockets were to fire RA at some time this season and replace him with Larry Brown, I wonder how well Steve Francis will get along with him. We all got to see how those two got along in New York. Is there anybody on this board who would consider bringing back Del Harris for a second term with this team?
i dont no if we rehire JVG the situation would change, i just no under RA, the situation will still...suck----dont no why i just dont think RA is the ONE to bring victory for Rox.
Morey fired JVG. Forgive me to trust Morey more after a good offseason than you guys. PS. It's next to impossible to hire JVG back, so don't waste your time dreaming.
According to what I have read, Morey wanted JVG back but Les said unless JVG did things his way, they would go in another direction.
Umm yeah Morey didn't fire anybody. If anything he was a middle man for Les but he didn't make the decision, uncy Les wanted a change
of course the coach would have something to do with that. If they're not playing hard, the coach should get together a team meeting and correct it.
I wouldnt call the 4 years a failure. Jeff made the players much better defenders. I give credit to him for that. And plus i like JVG. I know people always diss him but it seems like alot of fans are never satisfied. I was ready for a coaching change though.like i said, Jeff did a good job in my opinion. mainly on the defensive end. Rick Adelman is the right guy for the job. Give him some time. everyone knows the offense isnt going to click after a few games or so. I really think Adelman will make this team into a serious contender.
