He will take Grant Hill's spot on the team.
Kobe Bryant declined due to his wedding plans. Not a bad 2nd choice. If Rudy doesn't win the gold with this team it will be so embarrassing.

    G: Kidd/Payton/Hardaway

Since the US team hasn't lost a game to international competition with the "Dream Team", I don't think that will be much of a problem.

Who would've thought Don Nelson would pass up Olumide Oyedeji not once, not twice, but thrice?

well i'm not saying they're gonna lose but anything is possible. The 96 Olympic team almost lost to a bunch of college players led by Austin Croshere and Shea Seals. No one thought the 1980 US Olympic Team would beat the Soviet Union but they did. Upsets happen in sports.

It must be coo being an Olympics coach. I mean think about it...

Grant Hill cant play, what do you do? GET KOBE.

Kobe cant play, what do you do? GET RAHIM.

IF Rahim cant play, what do you do? GET FINLEY, Sprewell, Mashburn, Rose, etc. etc. etc.

You have a ton of options. Everybody that you could pick still wouldnt be all that much worse than your first pick, Grant Hill.

Also, why is Baker playing? He's depressed; he cant play. Webber needs to take his spot.

I think Rahim was an excellent choice. He gives the team some more versatility

I was hoping for Webber but he had that incident last time. Baker doesn't deserve the spot but I don't think it would be a good idea to take him off now.
