It's time for Yao to up his intensity level and also be ecouraged to play the power game in there ,throwing people around while flushing often like before he got hurt.Play Coach RA's offense It's perfect for Yao in the long run but let him wreak havoc like a bull in a china shop for now.We need that kind of attitude out of him on a more consistent basis. The transformation is occurring but bring it now big fella.Take out the anger from the BS fouls calls on the other team at the rack. While Yao utimately should strut his stuff in the all around game soon more than ever, there are many nights he's just gonna be unstoppable in the post and that attitude is gonna make a big difference in him taking it to the next level.

Yao should say the "F" word in front of the Ref and throw the towel in the Ref's face!

Since it's a proven fact that keeping the mouth shut hasn't earned him any respect, and complaining thru the coach (e.g. JVG) actually backfired as well, perhaps it's time for him to voice his anger in a more shocking manner. Maybe playing the race card is not such a bad idea.

I feel that Yao is getting called unfairly but is time for Yao to change this his damn self. If someone is going to take it hard to the hole he just needs to go hard also. They are going to call a foul on him anyways, he might as well let the opposing guards know not to bring it in again. It's almost too easy for anyone penetrating on the Rockets. Just take it in to Yao and it's almost a guaranteed freethrow. I don't like him jumping with his 2 hands up. He might as well contest the shot all the way and foul hard like Francis.

Even though I would not want Yao to leave(obviously), if he were to leave I don't think getting the respect of anyone inside the NBA or any of its followers would be of any concern to him.

I would LOVE (in fantasy) to have Yao pack it up and go back to China as David dumbazz Stern and his rigged-ref NBA would lose so much money.

Remember befor the ref-scandal, those people who felt the officials were biased or corrupt were laughed at? Ok with that in mind and with political correctness in the backseat or the trunk and reality driving and realism riding shotgun I say the following:

Well, I think that there is blatant racism involved in how Yao is officiated. I think if Yao were black that he would get officiated more fairly. There I said it. I don't care about any study that has indicated to the contrary.

its about time he gets angry. hopefully he brings that chip on his shoulder and punishes the competition for the rest of his career.

Did you see when Artest flopped under the basket on a rebound attempt? As soon as he determined he could not get the ball, he flopped forward and the replay showed NO contact and it looked ridiculous. The league loses credibility to me when they are more concerned with stopping jeans and T-shirts on the pine than they are with putting an end to the blatant and ridiculous flopping in the NBA games.

I think this was a positive development. Yao should've made an even bigger scene out there. Those calls were horrible. Yao gets no respect.

He'd have a better chance of getting respect from the refs in China than in the NBA.
