We should be thankful we can have expectations.
TrailBlazers and Twolves fans dont have any expectations for their team to make the playoffs
Knicks fans cant expect their team to even compete
Or worse, Seattle fans cant even root for the SuperSonics after a few years

Stick around longer..you just get used to it so the pain isn't like piercing earsplitting howl. No, it's more like a steady grinding irritant in your ear and you just get to the point of acceptance.

well don't worry...all our expectations should be gone by now...get ready for a first round bust yet again because it sure looks like we can't be better than the 6th seed.

man i cannot believe i would say i prefer gundy ball 6 months ago.

I rather be their fans so I can start cheering for celtics, spurs, mavs, and sun. Rockets always give u the expectation that they will start competing with the big spurs, mavs, and suns and each year ends the same.

    MY letter to TMAC:

    Dear TMAC,
I really like you as a person. I say this because I dont want you to think this is personal. You seem like a really good guy. That being said if you just played hard for even 3 quarters you would be talked about in the class of Jordan, Magic, Bird, and Kobe. Then the Rockets would probably have a couple of championships. But instead I am afraid you will just go down in history as a forgotten player who could never live up to the ability that God blessed him with. I have watched every game since you went to Houston ( yes every one) and I live in Alabama. I have never been to Texas and I dont have any relatives from there. I just started rooting for this team because I like Yao and you. I say these things because I like to see good things in sports happen to what I perceive as good people. Thats why I am a Rockets fan. What I am trying to say is if you played the whole game like you do the last 5 minutes you would be a top 5 player of all-time. Instead you just shoot fadeaway jumpers and dont really hustle at all. I know you hit alot of those shots but dont you think if you dribbled in closer like around 15 feet away you would make like 5 or 6 more shots a game. Look, I know you have a horrible bunch of shooters around you but we can still win with you and Yaos great play. I would not write this if I did not believe you had the God Given ability to do these things. I mean I know those couple of fade away jumpers look cool when they go in from there a couple of times a game, but wouldnt winning a championship by hustle and a new will to win be even cooler. I know you guys dont get the calls but it is because the refs dont want to reward players who dont hustle. I would really like to see you go down as an all-time great, but Im afraid you will be thought of as the guy who had Jordan ability and the hustle of Kwame Brown. I know thats not really how you want your legacy to be! Do you?
    Best wishes,
    The Byrdman

P.S. Dont pass up anymore layups or potential free throws so Rafer can shoot wide open threes ! I dont know if you guys know this but he really sucks at shooting.

    Comments appreciated.

    Now it's:
Yao and Tmac combined 70+ points, and rest of the team scored 20 against the Kings.
If that was called Princeton Offence, the world must be crazy.

Just lower your expectation. When something good happens to the Rockets, just be surprise and happy. You will feel better this way. :D

Where was Steve Francis in the Kings' game? Rafer stunk it up! Especially passing up a 3 pointer at the end that led to a turnover!!! We need Francis in! Rafer Alston is just too basic with nothing special but a crooked jacked up shot!!! For Francis hard work, he gets rewarded on the bench. This season's going to suck if he stays on the bench!!!

so many chances they cannt grap...so disappointed. they played without passions, without desire for vitory which make me have no hope of rox...

yeah thats our problem. truth is it's not t-mac or yao. We blame them cuz there so good and we don't win. We should really be blaming our role players. Battier looks like he's ready to retire. Bonzi looks like a rookie tryna find his way. Rafer just can't shoot, it's not gonna happen and james looks like he doesn't know where is is when he's out there. Some trades need to happen soon.
