um let's not get carried away. Tmac kept us close. IF he had mirrored his 1st half performance, it would have been a blowout.

Refs have some problems, but they are not the reason why rockets lost. Because, coach A played Yao + 4 perimeter players in the 4th quarter, of course, kings would attack the rim a lot, and resulted in that Yao was fouled out. In fact, we won suns a couple days ago is actually because suns were too confident in their jump shots and they had an off night!

Yao + 4 perimeter players could be used in a short period, but it cannot be our style! :(

yeah it wouldn't be so bad if Rafer understood his role and realized he shouldn't shoot unless necessary, but he just keeps throwing it up. It is amazing how everyone agrees they hold their breath everytime he shoots and are amazed when it goes in, a la a Shaq free throw!

    Yao and Tmac

    69 of the team's 99 total points.

I really don't think they were the reason for the loss tonight.

The guards on Sacremento were getting around our guards at will, this team needs a change in rotation desperatly.

    Need:

    Scola to start
    Francis to start

See where that leads the team.

Hayes is a great hustle player but he is not any threat on offense..and neither is Rafer...

I can live with Battier because he hits timely shots and always plays smart.

But Rafer and Hayes, have to hit the pine....

It's going to take time to get the system down. Be patient. It's wayy too early to call Rick Adelman's coaching here a failure. It sucks that we lost and Yao can't get any calls but look on the bright side, Yao got ejected. Isn't that what we wanted? Yao to get some friggin T's? He's gonna come next game pissed.

I now just hate the idea of 'taking over the game'. A one-man team can not beat any body, and it is a ***king waste of your teammates. Just think about koby and Lakers, and tonight's game was a perfect example. Aren't we supposely running something called Princeton Offense?

The big question isWhy does Yao Ming have a great first qtr, then plays like he is ashamed of playing so well. For the last three qtrs. he played like he was a role player, almost afraid to outshine his team mates.
Is it Yao Ming or is it the Coach?? Yao Ming should have had another offensive qtr. like the first. Don't tell me it was the defence because Yao was not even trying to get into scoring position, he was defering to others!! Yao needs to be told that the team depends on him being a great scorer more so that being a great team guy!!!:p

Where was the rest of the team? Yao and Tracy did more than enough to win this game. Yao was aggressive in the fourth and scored 6 of those 8 points in the last quarter before he fouled out with 3 minutes to go in the game. Tracy was aggressive. Where is everyone else? Quit hating on the wrong players. We have bigger problems than those two.

Steve's heart and passion was sorely missed, Steve is the 'leader' of this team, by default, because Tracy, will never be........

I hope Les Alexander is enjoying is running offense. He should crawl back to Van Gundy and beg him to come back.
