I agree....I think Luther and Kirk are definitely being shopped. They just don't seem to fit into the system. Brooks is probably in on it as well. If it was me, I'd also package Bonzi and Rafer. Get us some slashers and finishers. Get us some size as well.

I don't know but if Adleman doesn't turn this around soon, he's gonna be gone.

How can we build from there when those are the ONLY guys on our team scoring double digits? We need to rebuild around T-Mac and Yao, not the other way around. All the top teams in the NBA have at least 3 players who average double digits. The Suns have 6... *cough* so do the Kings *cough*

It just seems that our players are riding off the coattails of our superstars by passing them the ball all day, except when at crunch time, they all try to be heroes.

We ought to trade the whole team away; it seemed to work for Boston. T-Mac, Yao, Scola, Brooks, and Landry should be locked up players; anyone else is fair game in my opinion.

If I were GM, we wouldn't be at .500 18 games into the season, that's for sure. But maybe that isn't a GM issue, but a coach issue...

    The answer is simple.

We trade T-Mac and Yao. They are losers. They are soft. They play with no heart. They don't want to win. They'll never win. Houston won't ever be anything with them on this team.

In the NBA, it takes *3*. Period. You can put scrubs around them, but you need three legit superstars to win.

    SA - Tim, Tony, Manu
Dallas - Dirk, Howard, Harris (and Terry)
    Phoenix - Nash, Marion, Amare
    Boston - You all know

These are the premiere teams of the league. We have TMac, Yao (as flawed as they are) and a bunch of scrubs. There is a good chance we *will not* make the playoffs this year. If we don't, I think we blow up the team. Even if we do, we'll be taken out in the first round.

We need another legitimate scorer. We also need *size* and athleticism at the 4 to defend the Boozers of the league.

I dont agree the problem is our roster. Our problem is the usage of our roster.

The minute distribution has been screwed up since the beginning and the starting lineup makes no sense given the changes in the offseason.

Also, Rick is of the habit of letting his players find a way to play with each other by themselves. That is a problem because a number of our players either have very bad habits, have low IQ or are ballhogs. This group of players are talented but they need to be more carefully managed. Give these guys rope and they will hang themselves with it.

Well first I say: damn I got to retooll again. I just got all these JVG players. Which aligned with my moneyball philosophy. Now I have to make a complete overhaul again and find players that fit this high-post offense. Which puts me in a bit of a quagmire because my two focal points - Yao in particular - is not a good focal point for a high post system like this one yet he has to be the focal point. So I say what am I to do? I know. I will ask Classy Clyde. Thats what my boss does.

there is a strong possibility we wont even make the playoffs right now. we need to start preparing ourselves because its really not all that unrealistic. golden state has been on fire since jackson came back so the only team we have a chance of taking out of the current top 8 is the lakers.

changes need to be made, i'd start with starting steve francis and giving him MAJOR minutes.

I don't think Morey has to anything right now. The coach on the other hand needs to change up the rotation with the players we already have. Starting Francis would be a good start.

    what we need?

    we need a lot,

we need a point guard who can shot the 3points and defend well

we need scola develp fast and finally replace hays star at power forward

we need to find the way to answer front defend at yao

we need to more flexsible on our offense because the way our offense is playing even 2 years old baby can know how it next ball move

we need to get back our defense

so it brings final one, we need to fire RA

I hate to admit this, but let's look at the top teams we have trouble with and see what they have in common.

Spurs/Dallas/Phoenix/Jazz/Piston --> Parker, Terry, Nash, D William, Billups..

WE NEED A STARTING POINT GUARD TO REPLACE RAFER !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Rockets need a stud point guard, with balls of steel. The type of man that
can carry the team when Yao is being bullied and T-Mac is self destructing.

I don't think the Rockets have the pieces to acquire that type of player, though.
