Breaking: Hostages Held At Clinton Campaign Office

Reports out of New Hampshire indicate an armed man has taken hostages at a Clinton campaign office in Rochester.

    Clinton herself was not present.

Man reportedly has bomb strapped to himself, according to a hostage who was released with her baby.

    More soon.

    Clinton cancels DNC speech
    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Hillary Clinton has canceled her speech before the Democratic National Committee as a result of the developments at her New Hampshire office, DNC Chairman Howard Dean announced.

“Unfortunately as some of you know, there is a hostage situation in New Hampshire involving a Clinton campaign staff person," he said. "The details are sketchy at this time, but understandably Senator Clinton is now dealing with this very difficult problem and she is not going to be able to join us today. And we will keep them in our prayers and hope for a resolution to this situation in New Hampshire.”

I wouldn't report him, but making that joke, particularly when we don't know the outcome, is also not cool.

You haven't been banned for suggesting that liberals are in league with terrorists, so it is highly unlikely that danny's joke will draw a ban.

    Nice try though, crybaby.

its funny how people can say some really nasty things about someone and then when something tragic happens, the rhetoric does a complete 180 or people being to show concern.

the crocodile tears are flowing today...

    hope everything get resolved.

i wonder if this guy has a personal beef w/ a campaign worker, has beef against hillary, or is just crazy.

Anyone who straps a bomb to their chest is crazy, no matter what their beef is.

    Wow. Odd, odd times.

I cannot tell if there is one hostage, or two hostages, or two hostages, with one of the two being released.

I assume talking with Clinton would be the guy's goal. Not that he's sane, but what would be the point otherwise? I guess just to make a statement.

As an aside, the guy is clearly nutso, but I think hyperbolic rhetoric, from all sides, is a net negative for the mentally fragile bits of the population. And by the way, this idiot is just as likely from the far left as the far right, if it even matters.

Hope this works out without anyone getting hurt.

Yep, I thought about that. Also, how she handles things today could have a big influence on the race.

If you're law enforcement, there's no way you can allow the guy to talk to a presidential candidate. That's a bad, bad precedent. On the other hand, you can't refuse if you're Hillary because two of her people are in there and regardless of what she does, she'll be second-guessed and conspiracized (is that a word? If not, I'm coining it.) by her opponents.
