what are peoples' expectations of him tonight? For his first game of the season, I'd say he gets some quality minutes ,but those minutes will be sparce. I'd also say that he'll contribute more than most think. With all the injuries the Rockets have, I think he could work his way into the starting line up in a month or so. I think this is Jason's time to prove his first round draft status.
Tonight? I expect he will have a nice cup of cocoa, and perhaps a piece of cherry pie. Manana against the Lakers? I expect Shaq will make him look slower and more out of shape than Hakeem Olajuwon. Long-term? Uncertain, but he deserves a shot to display his talents.
I expect him to play some good minutes tommorrow. He was activated for his 6 fouls against Shaq and hopefully his ability to draw Shaq out on defense.
Oh great! We get to see Jason Collier again. This guy is a brick waiting to happen. I would trade him for Yinka Dare and a picture of Richard Nixon.
Is he a vegetarian? Dude look like he had not eaten any red meat and potatoes and lifted a weight in 3 years...kinda looked like Taliban Rat Boy Walker minus the beard action...... He looks like he lost about 20-30 pounds from what I can remember when he was drafted in 1996 he and lanhgi looked like a pair of lost pups out there and that was on the bench....we have nicknamed them "WCMP" or The white chocolate moping posse...they looked like they lost their best friends on the bench!
