Man I even bought the DVD. I mean I loved the shoot out scene near the end.

Oh well. I mean it may nto be my favorite but I do enjoy it.

One of my favorite action scenes of all time is the gun fight in Heat. That scene is so money.

The novel On Her Majesty's Secret Service precedes You Only Live Twice, so Bond and Blofeld hadn't met face-to-face yet and wouldn't recognize each other.

But the movies were filmed in reverse order, so Bond and Blofeld first meet at the end of YOTL.....yet don't seem to know each other in OHMSS. Basically the filmmakers decided to adhere to the plot of the novel so closely that it created a major continuity error. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that OHMSS has some kickass action scenes. :D

    1. "I was sent heeah to protect you."
    2. "I'm your huckle-berry..."
    3. "Kill meeee!!!! I'm heeeeeaaaaahhh!!! DO EEET!!!"
    4. "My name is ZEUS. He said 'Hey, Zeus', he didn't say 'Jesus.'"
    4. "Vatos Locos Forever, homes..."

    You know the movies.

I would have said "Alright, listen up, people. Our fugitive has been on the run for ninety minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him.", but that is more of a DRAMA or SUSPENSE thriller.

Too many to name but two I will list that I have not seen listed yet are Bloodsport and Hard to Kill. Yea, I know the acting isn't the best and downright cheesy but my God, the fight scenes in those 2 movies are awesome.

    Ah ha! I get it!

I actually read the book for YOLT (and it was COMPLETELY different than the movie) but that was the only 007 book I read.

And I disagree with you on the fight scenes in OHMSS. They were very choppy and the film was sped up (though Thunderball was a million times worse).

Believe it or not, the best 007 "action" movie would probably have to be Goldeneye.

Since the same movies always get mentioned in these threads, I have to give a nod to Terminator 3. It's not as ground breaking as T2 was, but it was still a great action flick. The chase scene with the crane truck is my all time favorite car chase scene ever.

I'm sorry, but the last fight scene in Bloodsport was one of the worst I've ever seen...waaaaay too much slo-mo...

The fight scenes were ok. What I'm referring to is the last 40 minutes of the movie where we see a ski chase, a car chase, another ski chase, the assault on Piz Gloria, and the bobsled chase.

And yes, GoldenEye is pretty badass too. So is the train fight in From Russia With Love. That might be the best scene period in the entire series.

I thought about Ong-Bak, but I only saw it once and therefore I know it can't possibly be one of my all-time favorites.
